DONALD T-RUMP IS A MISCREANT & TRAITOR - REMEMBER, FOLKS I TOLD YA SO!

By Gloria DULAN-WILSON
Hello All

I originally wrote this article on January 8, 2021!!

A few years ago, after the US shot itself in the foot and allowed Donald T-rump to take the oath of office, I started using the phrase "stuck on stupid" to depict the demeanor of Congress and the US Senate.  It was apparent to me from the git-go that T-rump was buying his way into ths position.  It's the kind of m/o he routinely used to get what he wanted.

However, I could not believe that they would actually allow him to become president after they found out that the Russians had deliberately tampered with our votes.  I smelled collusion from the beginning. However, the glaring situation was that the repuglycon (rep-ugly-con) party had been effing with our rights from the time of Obama's election, and they now had an inverterate miscreant who had absolutely no moral compass whatsoever - and had raised his children to be the same.

This was not my first time realizing T-rump was a miscreant.  I had the distasteful experience of meeting T-rump on two separate occasions - and had been totally repulsed by his behavior - his attitude that nothing else matters if it wasn't his way; or if the spotlight wasn't on him.  The first time was in the 90s when Matty Rich premiered "Straight of Brooklyn," and was announcing his own clothing line.  There was a press conference, and T-rump was part of it (by the way, to me T-rump means "the ass.").  At the time I was writing for a Black publication and was asked to cover the event.  Matty had already impressed us with his creative ingenuity - so I asked questions about the clothing line, and what inspired him.  Each and every time he tried to respond, T-rump would butt in and take over the conversation.  After about the third time, I finally asked him "did you do the line or did he?"  I don't think he liked my question.  He turned beet red and glared at me.  He was quiet for a few minutes, and then began talking again.

My second time was when he started T-Rump University - which was going to teach us how to make deals and build a real estate empire.  I still have the book, "The Art of the Deal," which was given away to those who signed up for the university.  T-rump did not show up til the late evening - so the individuals who were delivering the seminar preview were real estate salesmen/hucksters, who were there to egg us into signing up for the university.  Toward the ende of the sessions, they made the announcement that Donald T-rump himself was going to appear to address us all - so those who wanted to, could stay and meet him in person.  Being the reporter that I am, I decided to stay to see what he was going to say.  Everyone else  was excited.  The audience was balanced between Black and white - novice to sophisticated investor.  T-rump was scheduled to show up at 9:00 or so, but actually didn't show up until nearly 11:00 - with the sales people urging people to wait because it would be "worth it."  Allegedly he was going to give away free scholarships.
Only those who had actually signed up for the classes were going to be allowed access to T-rump, which would have eliminated me, except I was with the press, and they were trying to hype the University.

We were herded into a ballroom where everything was black with some bright glaring lights behind T-rump directed towards the audience.  People took their seats; music was blaring all over the place.  I sat just to the right of the podium on the front row.  After several speakers, T-rump got up to speak.  He started off quietly congratulating those who had signd up.  Then he started escalating and eventually went off topic.  Next he started using profanity, the eff word and mf word - and the audience laughed nervously.  Finally he really escalated about the merits of controlling the deal, property acquistion and denigrating those who were on the opposite side of the table - basically calling them a range of negative names.  After about 30 minutes of his diatribe, I decided that there was no way I was going to do an article about him or his bogus University - I left him shouting over an enthralled group of sycophants who were probably hopping he was going to drop millions out his butt for their sitting through this.

As we watched the events of January 6, 2021, I had a flashback to that night when T-rump was verbally abusiing the audience of real estate investors, and realized that nothing had changed.  He had gotten worse.  He was much slicker.  His years in the media had taught him how to manipulate an audience - he's been doing it for the last 5 years - starting with his campaign against Hillary Clinton.  He knew how to manipulate the mental menials even more now than he did that night in New York.  He has been doing it for quite some time - but the real tragedy is that we have been allowing him to do so.  He knows how to manipulate minds - which is why the Apprentice, and his other shows have done so well.  Now we have this mendicant in the White House who has caused genetic throwbacks to come together and think that they have some sort of mission to "save America" by attacking and assaulting the government in his name.  His ego must be increased a thousand-fold by now.

His allegations - his outright lies were designed to appeal to the Proud Boys and other hillbillyredneckcrackergeneticthrowbackmentality suck ups that hang on his every word.  No matter how much we claim that what he says is faux news and not true, we fail to realize that he's not talking to us, he's not trying to influence us - he was specifically talking to his base, and he's not speaking in code,  but in plain english - using shock value and audacity - the kind of things the powerless live vicarously through him for their own miniscule aggrandizement.  And it's working - the evidence was those people who stormed the Nation's Capitol, and some of the redneck security guards who did more to help them, than to prevent them.  And wonder, how did they know where to go and where the offices were - who furnished them with the blueprints and the maps?  Think about it. T-rump was trying to overthrow the government and using the genetic throwbacks to do it.

He is a traitor!  But we have the 25th amendment and the impeachment process that impedes kicking his sorry carcass out or arresting him immedialely.  And I find it amazing - I wonder what they would do if he was standing in the rotunda with an AK-47 in his hand aiming it at members of Congress?  Would they go through the constitution, or would they disarm him, arrest him, and remove him immediately from he premises?  This is tatamount to the same thing. He is a walking time bomb, a loose cannon.  He needs to be arrested and removed. It's clear to us - but all I'm hearing on the media is a rehash of the same garbage over and over and over and over.

Worse yet, our spineless congress and senate have no idea how to stop this from hanging like the sword of Damocles over our heads.    They are more worried about the Constitution, while this cretin has made it plain that he couldn't give two shits about upholding the constitution, or anything else fo that matter, if it doesn't serve his selfish needs.

It's likewise clear that caucasoids will eventually allow him to get away with this scott free - citing some garbage about dividing the country.

And, while it's true that Black Lives Matter were treated with extreme prejudice, and whites were treated with kid gloves, that's not about to change - ao I don't want my brothers and sisters to think that because we're pointing it out now that it will move the needle toward parity in the future.  Like Paul Mooney often said, "you don't have the complexion for the connection.  That doesn't mean we shouldn't try, just make sure  that they are going to be more concerned about reconciling with their schizoid redneck miscreant cousins than they are about equal opportunity for us  There is going to be a time when they will kiss and make up - and we had better be prepared to be kicked to the curb again.

Over the past few years, I've written several posts on the Predator in Chief, prior to and during his reign of error in the white house.  I am sharing them with you to read at your leisure. I'm sharing them because it find it amusing that the media now acts like they have been telling and warning people about T-rump all along - but nothing could be further from the truth.

As a Black writer, blogger, woman, I know that I've not reached the recognition or notoriety that many of my peers have - wasn't really trying to.  I just love the opportunity to say TOLD YOU SO

These, then are my collected articles that mention or focus on T-rump and why we as Black people have to begin supporting and paying attention to our Black writers who continually try to speak truth to power,

Black Family Summit Launches Emergency Response to Coronavirus Pandemic

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

Hope all is well with you and that you and your families are safe, well, healthy, happy and thriving in the midst of these challenging and perilous times.
I recently received a press release from the Institute of the Black World that I'm sharing with you all, knowing that as we are bombarded more and more by the mainstream media, we definitely need to have voices of calm and reason in order to know what is real and what is hype.  Under the understanding that we have been bombarded with a plethora of misinformation and confusion, the NNPA, headed by Dr. Ben Chavis, along with the Institute of the Black World have come together to provide a closer look, analyses, and resources specifically oriented to Black people.   Thus far, no date as to the convening of the summit has been announced, but as soon as it is, I will be apprising you of the information so you can tune in and participate.

I will likewise be posting the info on my blog: ECLECTICALLY BLACK NEWS as well  as information I'm receiving from international sources which have resources that so far have not been accessed by the current incumbent ersatz president.  We have to keep each other informed, we have to develop and be each others resources and recourses in a time of epidemic and beyond.  It's not the first time we've been through crises - and it's because of our love of each other, our ingenuity, creativity, relentlessness,  and intelligence that we've survived 400
plus years of every challenge ever known to man thrown at us.

WE will survive this as well.

Black Family Summit Launches Emergency Response to Coronavirus Pandemic
By IBW21

Organizations to Address Myths and Disinformation, Highlight Racial Disparities

According to Dr. Ron Daniels, President of the Institute of the Black World 21st Century (IBW), they will convene a Black Family Summit, to launch a multifaceted emergency Initiative to address the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic on African Americans and people of African descent in the U.S.

Leonard Dunston, President Emeritus of the National Association of Black Social Workers and IBW Board Member,  will convene the Summit, which is comprised of twenty-nine socially-conscious Black professional and advocacy groups.  Among  the organizations that focus on the wholistic health and welfare of Black families and communities, are the All Healers Mental Health Alliance, Black Psychiatrists of America, Association of Black Psychologists, Inc., National Association of Black Social Workers, Black Administrators in Child Welfare, National Medical Association, Community Healing Network, Nigerian Social Workers of America and the National Black Nurses Association.  These “healing” organizations are in the forefront of the Emergency Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic as it relates to the impact on Black families and communities.
Because of false information  spread on social media that Black people are immune from the Coronavirus because of a melanin exemption;”  and rumors that the danger of the Pandemic is being overblown as a scheme to control Black people, along with prevalent disbelief and apathy among many in the Black community as to the validity and seriousness of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the All Healers Mental Health Alliance, convened by Dr. Annelle Primm,  recently discussed these issues on its bi-weekly conference call.   Subsequently,  IBW is  convening an emergency phone meeting of BFS Organizations to develop strategies to counter myths and disinformation about the Pandemic.
To immediately address these urgent concerns the Co-Chairpersons of the FEMA/BFS Emergency Management Task Force, Yusef Muhammad, former President of the International Association of Black Professional Fire Fighters; and Dr. Lucy  Perez, former President of the National Medical Association, have assembled a Task Team to develop culturally appropriate and effective messages, with accurate medical information and facts, about the Coronavirus Pandemic and its impact on Black families and communities.  The first Fact Sheet has already been developed and is being circulated as an evolving document to be updated as new information and facts emerge about the Pandemic. The National Medical Association, Meharry College and several other organizations have volunteered to contribute to the evolving Fact Sheet.

A Black Media Task Team has been formed, headed by Rev. Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, President/CEO of the National Newspaper Publishers Association and Rev. Mark Thompson, Host of the Make It Plain Podcast and a longtime social justice activist, to assemble experts and messengers who will deliver the  message via print, electronic and social media platforms that the Coronavirus Pandemic is REAL and will disproportionally impact Black families and communities.
BFS organizations are submitting the names of representatives with expertise on infectious diseases and healthcare disparities for Black people to Dr. Chavis and Rev. Thompson so that a pool of Black-oriented expert voices will be available for interviews on Black and mainstream media.
Dr. Leon McDougle, President-Elect, National Medical Association, Dr. Patricia Newton, CEO/Medical Director, Black Psychiatrists of America and Dr. Martha Dawson, President, National Association of Black Nurses are the first representatives who have agreed to be credible messengers for this Initiative.
It is anticipated that many more will follow in short order.
The Emergency Response Initiative is rapidly achieving results.  At Dr. Chavis’ request, the NNPA has established a National Coronavirus Resource Center on its digital platform Black America Press.com; and Dr. Chavis has generously agreed to create a dedicated space for articles and essays from IBW/BFS on the NNPA platform.
IBW has also established a space for Coronavirus articles and information on its website at www.ibw21.org – which will be linked to the NNPA Resource Center.
Webinars to disseminate accurate information about the Coronavirus Pandemic are being convened almost daily by organizations affiliated with BFS.
Seventy-five or more representatives of organizations participated in the most recent Emergency Phone Meeting convened by BFS.  There was great eagerness to contribute to making this Initiative successful.
In commenting on the success of the Emergency Response Initiative, Leonard Dunston, Convener of BFS said, The outpouring of support for this effort has been simply amazing. It’s in the best tradition of Black folks responding to the needs of our people in times of crisis.  It is also clear that there is a deep yearning  for sharing and healing at a time when people feel isolated from each other.  So, in addition to convening sessions to develop strategies to address the Pandemic, we also plan to convene regular healing sessions to bond and bind our people together as we collectively struggle to get beyond this crisis.”

HEY PHILLY 2nd Time's a Charm: ELECT ANTHONY HARDY WILLIAMS MAYOR - DON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

Well, it's May 18, 2019 - 3 days away from the Mayoral Primary in Philadelphia, and I have to do a slight rewind to 4 years ago, in 2015, when Philadelphia shot itself in the foot by not electing Anthony Hardy Williams mayor.  It seemed that there was some sort of cognitive dissonance that occurred en masse, which caused those with basic intelligence to shift their support to former City Council Representative Jim Kenney - for no apparent reason.

In fact, one of my close associates asked me to share his dismay and disdain for the outcome of the primary election of 2015, which, ironically, happened to have been on Malcolm X's Birthday.

I'm sharing it with you below:

Philadelphia Mayoral Primary Election: The Best Man Didn't win, the Best Tactics Did

Dear Philadelphians,

During the primary election for Mayor of the City of Brotherly Love, many Black Voters voted for Jim Kenney over Anthony Hardy Williams. My question is why? What do you believe Mr. Kenney is going to do for the Black Community in Philly that Mr. Williams couldn't do better?

Take a look at http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/20/us/jim-kenney-wins-philadelphias-democratic-primary-for-mayor.html?_r=0 and you'll see the person many in the Black Community voted for. Sisters, why didn't you Vote for Mr. Williams? All of Philly is going to have to deal with the outcome of your voting. You gave Kenney 55% of the vote in Philly and that doesn't make sense to me. Will some one in Philly give me some facts and answers to my questions??

Philadelphia Mayoral Primary Election: The Best Man Didn't win, the Best Tactics Did

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

In the spirit of good sportswomanship, I must first of all congratulate James Kenney for emerging victorious from the 6-candidate primary that took place yesterday, May 19 in Philadelphia.

Anthony Hardy Williams

Of course you know, if you read my blog, that I was in favor of Anthony Hardy Williams.  However, he didn't win - he did come in a decent second behind Kenney who garnered 55% of the votes at the last tally I was present for.
All in all a well run race - skillfully engineered, with all forces, sources and energies garnered and gathered to ensure that all corners of Philly's constituencies were on board.

Kudos to the Northwest Alliance for having done a superb job.  It's just too bad that all that energy, unfication, solidarity could not have been mustered for either of the three African American candidates who were running - Douglass Oliver, Milton Street, or Tony Williams - or someone else of their choosing.  I for one definitely believe in Black unity - especially when it's around our own Black people.

However, someone said that Williams campaign failed to muster a campaign that dealt with the racial currency of the mayoral election,  or to respond to the attacks against his record.  His was definitely not a vicious campaign - it was one that was designed to engage the people and appeal to those areas of interest that most affected them: education, jobs, family development; decent affordable homes - stuff that Philadelphians need and are supposed to care about - but you  also have to be slugging it out toe to toe - to be seen.

Someone said that Williams had not "kissed the papal ring and gotten the blessing of the head honcho in charge," which is why he did not get the backing of the Philly Dems.  Kind of sad, isn't it, that Philly may have to endure 4 years of an ersatz mayor because of infighting and power struggles within it's predominant party.  In the meantime the voters are apparently big fans of Kool-Aid - because they had to do the actual voting.  One has to wonder what flavor they represented as they emerged?

As Tony Williams' mother stated after the 90% of the tally had been announced, "No one minds losing - if Tony had lost to a man of equal stature, intelligence, ability or accomplishments - it would have been understood and accepted.  But to Kenney - who has done little to nothing in 23 years, it's an insult."

The only thing I can say is Philadelphia's voters are going to wake up and say, "Oh My God! What have we done!!!!"

I'm sharing the two pieces with you 4 years later because you should have had plenty of time to think about where we are now.  And do we want to continue heading in that same direction?

We have a primary election that takes place on May 21, 2019 - and I am not one to ASSUME (Ass-u-me) that everybody has now seen the light.  So my question to Philadelphians after 4 years is, ARE YOU WOKE YET?  I truly hope you are, because there's too much riding on this upcoming primary to leave things to chance.  We know that there are some serious issues on the national front that set our country on its ear.

We also know that we have to hunker down and make sure that  we all get out and vote - in all our districts - no matter who you vote for.  Voting is not just a right, it's an absolute responsibility - one that many of your forbearers fought and died for.  One that you cannot and must not take for granted or neglect.  No one can do your voting for you.  You have to show up - each and every one of you.   Especially in an age when you have those trying to take it away from you, block it, thwart it, or discard it.

That said - you also have to also be a responsible and informed voter.  You can't just throw it up against the wall and see who sticks.  Nor can you allow the media to select your leaders.  You still have to do your due diligence. Your homework.   If you don't  know who your candidates are, in addition to the mayor; or what the issues are, then I strongly suggest you refer to the link that tells who all the candidates are and where your polling places are located.

Like I said, Philly don't get fooled again!!  This time make the correct choice for Mayor - but don't ignore City Council, Court of Common Pleas, Sheriff and issues of concern.

If you don't, you've no one to blame but yourselves.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
VOTE ON MAY 21st, 2019
