Well You Were Asking About the OCTOBER SURPRISE - Now You Got It!! Don't Let it Kill your Vote Philly!!

Hello All:

We all knew it was waaaay too quiet.  Things were going a little too smoothly.  We had a sneaking suspicion that there was something up, but didn't quite know what.

News media spoke of a looming "October Surprise."  We thought it was the bogus FBI press conference about Russia and Iran trying to subvert America to embarrass T-Rump.  But No!  There was something much more sinister afoot. Something more visceral. Something designed to set off people who are depicted - quite appropriately, apparently - as walking time bombs.

 So here we is, boys:  2 white policemen in West Philadelphia shoots Walter Wallace, a Black man who is coming at them with a knife in an apparently menacing/threatening manner.  The policemen shoot him, and all hell breaks loose - a mother is distraught, and a riot ensues.  

People come out and loot, break windows, and run amok! 

How convenient!

How predictable!

How stupid and utterly self defeating.  

But if it was the desired result of the repuglycons that this be the very reaction - they couldn't be happier than if they had orchestrated it themselves:  ONE WEEK FROM ELECTION DAY - GRAPHICALLY DISPLAYED ALL OVER THE MEDIA - MENACING BLACK YOUTH RAVAGING PHILADELPHIA.  A stone's throw away from victory - and we can't discipline ourselves.  

And why the violence? What's up with that?

It appears the aggressor was actually the brother running at the policeman with a knife.  Not condoning or condemning  either the victim or the police - I'm just saying - what would you do if you were in the situation - regardless of whether you were a policeman or just a brother or sister on the street?  I think I'd definitely find a way to take him down.  Don't tell me you wouldn't.

Too late for damage control or a spin or the usual heroes.  Too late for that now.

We have a serious thing to consider at this juncture - and I am not going to back those brothers and sisters out there rioting like they lost their total minds.  Because they know what time it is and apparently don't give a damn. They don't care about their people, this country, or the future.  To them, we are just collateral damage.  It never occurred to them that they were being played.  

By now we all know that the predator in chief will stop at nothing to "win."  That he has no compunction about hiring whomever he needs to hire to push the buttons - and we fall for it every time.  This kind stuff has been being done for eons - when they want to remove people from an area they want, they set up bogus wars, combats and problems - and they they proceed to categorize it as a dangerous area - then they clean you out.  

Hasn't anybody ever told you  DON'T HELP THE ENEMY?!!!

And to my fellow activist Brothers and Sisters,  please don't try to couch this as a protest - it's not!  And it's apparent  they learned nothing from the previous situation in June's fracas.  You know, stuff like:  got food, got jobs, got health, got sense???

I do believe that this is a set up - that it was staged - designed for the predictable response - and they took the bait - Hook, Line, and Sinker.

I had no idea this was going on until my daughter called me last night to make sure I was safe.  I was - am - But when she told me what had happened, the first thing that sprang to my mind was: 

There it is! The October Surprise!  Big as Life and twice as ugly.

And before you try to run the spiel on us about police brutality, consider this - two Black males shot each other in Philly the night before -but there were no riots, no looting, no people in the streets protesting.  In fact, if it had not been mentioned on the news, no one would have said a thing.  Why is that?  Why aren't we as pissed off when we kill each other?  Why aren't we clamoring for justice, and at the very least breaking out the windows of the perpetrators who did the shooting?

Why is that?

And why wouldn't you expect a policeman - or anyone for that matter - to use armed force against someone who was running at them with a knife?  Why did the mother call the police in on the situation?  The sad thing is that calls like those is that usually end up in tragedy.  Though it shouldn't.  There used to be cities, when you had a mentally ill person menacing others, the police would drop a net over them, subdue them, and take them to the hospital or jail, or whatever other institution necessary.  Someone though it was inhumane.  So they stopped it.  Now the police are pushed to do it.  They were not trained for it.   (I know there are those who said they didn't have to shoot that many times, and it was excessive - there were two police shooting - not one - hence the 14 bullets). 

On a conspiracy theory tip:  How do you know it wasn't a set up in the first place?

Whether it was, or not, was too much to expect us to use restraint, common sense and not tear up where we live?  Did we learn nothing from June?  Like I said -got food, got health, got job - NO?  Even to you looters I hope understand that what you take won't last through the winter - and with the stores closed, where will you go?  Hindsight in 2020 is 2020.  I find it insulting that we try to justify this crap. 

In the interim, we are trying to explain the ignorance and unexplainable.  We have to now do "damage control."  You now have to have a curfew and restraints.  You now are in a lockdown situation.   And we're now trying to recover from your over reactionary behavior. 

BUT IF YOU - OR T-RUMP OR THE REPUGLYCONS OR THE PROUD BOYS - THINK IT WILL STOP US FROM VOTING - GUESS AGAIN!

NO WEAPON - EVEN THE IGNORANCE OF SOME OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS - FORMED AGAINST US WILL STOP US!

WE WILL VOTE BECAUSE OF AND IN SPITE OF YOUR ACTIONS. 

Sure, we know that there is an underlying reason for anger. There is also supposed to be a certain amount of intelligence and common sense.

WE WILL VOTE BECAUSE WE HAVE TO MOVE THE NEEDLE FROM THE NEGATIVE AND VINDICTIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE

WE ARE NOT GOING TO ALLOW THIS TO BE THE UNDERMINING OF WHAT WE HAVE BUILT AND CONTINUE TO BUILD AMONG OURSELVES.

Brothers and Sisters in other states have to take up the slack and make sure they vote in droves, so that, no matter what happens in Philadelphia, where it's apparent some of our people have still not gotten the message, we still win.  We have to make sure win regardless of which way Pennsylvania swings - but keep pushing for turning it from red to BLUE.

We have to vote early and by any means necessary.  

We have to make sure we VOTE BLUE - NOT MATTER WHO 

We know that if our popular votes are so overwhelming, there is absolutely no question about who won, and the ELECTORAL COLLEGE HAS TO BACK US UP.  

AND WE WILL WIN AND PREVAIL

IT'S CLEAR THAT T-RUMP IS NOT THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAVE TO RESOLVE

WE HAVE TO ALSO MAKE SURE THAT WE AS BLACK PEOPLE ARE USING OUR CREATIVITY, ENERGY AND TALENT TO BUILD, NOT DESTROY, AND UNITE IN POSITIVE ACTIONS - PROACTIVE - NOT REACTIVE; CONSTRUCTIVE - NOT DESTRUCTIVE

Regardless of the curfews and other issues, 

We will vote & We will WIN

IT'S TIME TO WTFU BLACK PEOPLE 

NOW THAT YOU  KNOW

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

 VOTE BLUE - NO MATTER WHO
