We all know that an angry mob of miscreants, hired and egged on by a deranged ersatz president, bent on wreaking havoc after having lost an election to a presidency that he never really served in the first place.   What is amazing is that there is an investigation into something that millions of people witnessed with their own eyes!  It's like having eyewitness news coverage and saying that the cameras weren't working; worse yet, that we didn't see what we saw with our own eyes. 

The investigation has now dragged on for over a year, garnering more evidence of what we already know to be true - the orange faced fool and his band of evil senators are complicit in an effort to overthrow the government, decertify and election, and start a fascist dictatorship by placing the loser back in the role of the presidency so that he could continue to destroy the country. 

In the spirit of the People's right to know, the Daily Kos is circulating a petition demanding that NBC, CBS, ABC TV Networks broadcast the hearings of the JANUARY 6 SELECT HOUSE COMMITTEE. 

As you can see, it was addressed to me - but I'm sharing it with you so you can sign it as well.  Just make sure you indicate that you are not "Gloria," voice your opinion and send it in.  We, the People of the United States of America have a right to know - hopefully these hearings will lead to dire consequences for those who were involved, from the bogus president on up.

Sign the Petition to Fire DeJoy from the USPS - but Use Executive Orders to undo Trump's Executive Ordders immediately

Hello All:

Of the top five people who should have been already doing time in Leavenworth - T-Rump, McConnell, Pence, DeVos, Cruz, Graham - Louis DeJoy should have been thrown under the jail.

His destruction of the US Postal Service, and continued destruction must be stopped immediately if not sooner.  It's a federal offense, as well as a violation of our rights as Americans.

1 year ago, in May 2020, when it became apparent that T-rump hired him deliberately to destroy the postal service, and to mail in voters, I tried to circulate a petition to stop him from doing so.  However, it was apparent that Move-On, the organization through which I  circulated it, was not on the same page with me; so  I didn't get the support they promised to promulgate the petition in time to stop him from appointing his own personal hatchet man.  SEE BELOW:  As I had predicted,  under T-Rump's orders, DeJoy immediately set about dismantling the United States Postal Service.

What I don't understand is why it's taking more time to get rid of T-rump vermin, than it did for him to put them in place.

Why can't we kick him to the curb?  Why the debate?  Why the so-called due process in putting him out, when there was none when he was hired?

In point of fact -  we Dems must stop dancing to the repuglycon's music and tune, and be much more aggressive in ridding ourselves of these problems -

In other words: FIRE HIS ASS !!! AND THEN WE AMERICANS WILL SUE HIM. 

Arrest T-rump for trying to over throw the government, and continued subversive activities.  Why all this foot dragging!

President Biden - issue an executive order to re-establish and strengthen the VOTING RIGHTS ACT - we can still do a symbolic vote for John Lewis Voting Rights Act; and George Floyd Police Reform, etc.

Do an executive order to undo any and all executive orders instituted by T-rump - and get the FBI and State Department to drag any and all individuals who are complicitous with his nefarious efforts to destroy and overthrow America.  Stop allowing them to throw monkey wrenches in due process - something we would not be able to do when the situation was reversed.

Stop playing 'Mr. and Ms. Nice Party/guy/gal!  The Ball's in our court - play to win. When you ask for my contribution, I want to make it's being used to get rid of the muck and dreck left by the former Predator in Chief.

And let's stop putting Americans through torture and bogus medical procedures.  Make it possible for Stem Cell procedures to be covered by MEDICARE AND MEDICAID - so that Americans can stop being violated by big Pharma, and be able to heal from such deleterious diseases as Arthritis.  The rest of the world is using the procedure.  Must we always be on the late show with modern medical technology and coverage? 

We need you to listen to us little people - not the pundits and so-called authorities.

That said - by all means sign the petition - and any and all petitions that speak to the dismantling of any and all things left behind by T-rump; but demand the pols get up off it and get the job done.

This Just In: Kenney to declare Juneteenth as official city holiday again this year

I recently circulated a petition in reference to Juneteenth being reinstated as Holiday in Philadelphia.  Then I received this press release trying to head off the City Council Confrontation set for Thursday, January 28.  So I say to the petitioners, sign the petition anyway.  Make your voice official. 

 

Kenney to declare Juneteenth as official city holiday again this year

Juneteenth will be an official city holiday this year after all.  

Mayor Jim Kenney will sign an executive order this week to declare Juneteenth an official city holiday for 2021, said Kenney administration spokeswoman Deana Gamble in an email.  

"The mayor intends to recognize Juneteenth as an official holiday," Gamble said. 

Last year, as protests and civil unrest were ongoing in the city and U.S. over the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Kenney used a one-time executive action to designate the June 19 celebration, commemorating the abolition of slavery in the U.S., a city holiday for the first time.  

Kenney's unilateral order left out Juneteenth as an official city holiday for this year, which The Philadelphia Tribune reported on last week.   

The Kenney administration continues to negotiate with the city’s four major labor unions to include Juneteenth among other observed holidays in their collective bargaining agreements to cement Juneteenth as a permanent city holiday, Gamble said.  

"We want Juneteenth to be listed in all four CBAs [collective bargaining agreements]," she said. 

Gamble maintained mayor had always intended to use an executive order if the administration didn't make progress on those negotiations. The mayor's executive order would again establish  Juneteenth an official city holiday only for this year.  

The collective bargaining agreements for the city’s major unions sunset on June 30 — after Juneteenth. 

The Kenney administration also was attempting to negotiation with the unions to swap out a current city holiday, like Columbus Day, for Juneteenth due to budgetary concerns. The city suffered a nearly $750 million budget hole last year due to the economic fallout from the novel coronavirus pandemic. 

The School District of Philadelphia will observe Juneteenth this year on June 18, a Friday, by closing schools and administrative offices. The last day of the school year for students is June 11. 

In 2019 Gov. Tom Wolf designated June 19 as Juneteenth National Freedom Day, creating a state holiday for employees under the governor’s jurisdiction. 

Juneteenth is not a federal holiday but according to the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation, 45 states and the District of Columbia mark the day as a holiday or observance. According to CBS News, several companies moved to mark Juneteenth as a paid holiday last year in the wake of the Floyd protests.

HABARI GANI -  KUUMBA DAY 6 OF KWANZAA  - KUUMBA = CREATIVITY 7 months ago, after T-rump threatened to dismantle the USPS, I created a petition entitled "Hands Off The USPS "- and enlisted the assistance of MoveOn to help promulgate it, along with FACEBook, and other organizations.   But it went absolutely nowhere. Ironically, today, December 31, I receive this "CLOSURE NOTICE FOR 19143 POST OFFICE" which happens to be my zip code. Interesting , isn't it?  We all know that T-rump and his henchmen have been tampering with the USPS dismantling the sorters, furloughing postal workers, dragging out delivery schedules. BELOW is a petition to save our postal service plus a request for donation.  Issues which could have been averted had the entities involved kept their promise to support our efforts to save the entire postal system.  It is clear now that they did little or nothing to support the petition; but the real responsibility rests with us to protect the goods, services and institutions in our communities need,  So please sign the petition - and also make sure you reach out to your elected officials and demand that they protect our postal services from closing down.  Now that we've rid ourselves of T-rump we should not have to be forced into suffering from his demented policies and assault on our country.
