ICYMI: WHY POLITICAL ANALYST JAMES CARVILLE CALLS THE SUPREME COURT "SCROTUS"

Greetings All!

First of all let me caution you that this - because James Carville is pulling no punches. 

He never does!

He's known for telling it like it is, regardless of where it fell.  He was anything but "politically correct!"  He is also one of the most widely respected political analysts on the planet. Interestingly enough, his wife is a repuglycon - Mary Matalin - whose radio show was pro repuglycon.  I've always had a great deal of respect for James Carville and his penchant for telling it like it is.  And this video he recorded is explicit.  I just wish he had done it 20 years ago - but here it is now - and here we are now - and we have to stop pretending there is any honesty or sanctity or respect due the current iteration of the subprime court.

Over the years, I've developed a great deal of respect for his candid, straight-with-no-chaser political analyses.  

I'm sharing this video with you now because there are too many of us on the sidelines or too many brothers who can't seem to make an informed decision. 

By the way, the only people who regard them as a "supreme court" are the caucasoids for whom they were established to do their bidding by keeping us subjugated, lied to, lied about, working for little or nothing, disenfranchised, mis-educated and for at least the majority of the two-plus centuries of their existence, they've done a thorough job - keeping the racist powers that be quite happy and satisfied. In fact, if you really think about it, the only times they have righteously ruled in our behalf were Brown V Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas and .....  If you think of it, fill it in please.  Of course having the great Lincoln University alumnus, THURGOOD MARSHALL, as the first Black Supreme Court JUSTICE, elevated their status in my estimation.  However, when Marshall died, they oozed their way back to "justice" in name only.  With a slick co-conspiracy the US Senate first proposed a real redneck named Bork  to take Marshall's place.  And after very vigorous protests, news campaigns, and outrage, they turned around in pulled out Uncle Thomas Clarence - their secret weapon against Black people.  They would indeed put a 'black" man on the bench - but like the Oreo, any resemblance between him and African Americans was purely and totally coincidental. Not only that, he came with so much embarrassing baggage - womanizing, lying, and scandal - a track record only an overseer could love - which totally endeared him to the solid citizens of the solid south - and the most egregious greedy capitalists, who knew they had nothing to worry about from him - because the chance of his every doing anything in behalf of African American rights was somewhere between slim and none.  

Carville mentioned the fiasco of the 2000 election when Al Gore had actually won the election against George Bush, but Florida tried to cheat America out of a new president by taking the ballots and dumping them in Florida's swamp.  I was among the media that gathered in the Hilton Hotel to watch the count.  Around 2:00AM Gore made his concession speech.  However, by the following morning, after discovering several thousand ballots had been thrown into the water, they declared the presidential election had not been decided - and proceeded to count the ballots.  The repuglycons were against it and stated the subprime court should decide whether to recount the ballots in order to determine the winner of the presidential election.  Instead they proceeded to give the election to Bush.  America was outraged, the Democrats had been double crossed - but the deed was done.

Since the death of Thurgood Marshall, the Subprime Court has consistently ruled against the interests of Black people, including eviscerating our Voting rights, the recent laws passed against abortion and a woman's right to choose.  It should be clear that they are literally goose stepping us backwards to the days of Plessy v. Ferguson - where they ruled that a Black Man had no rights a caucasoid was bound to respect.  And the Senate has done all it could to continue that march backwards - starting with former speaker of the House, John Boehner (bonehead) and Mitch "the B"  McConnell refusing to consider President Obama's recommendation (Merrick Garland) as a Supreme Court Justice.  It was the beginning of a full-on unadulterated assault on Black people.  Then, for extra measure, the second biggest target of American Caucasoids - white women - got dragged into the cesspool.  And their greed for dominance has been legitimized even further.  I am curious to see at what point Black people and white women are going to wake up and put an end to this neo-fascist/nazi regime that is being erected right under our noses, in front of our faces.

No wonder John Carville is furious!  To find out how furious, check out the video  below.  And after that, and you've taken notes on the transgressions against the constitution committed by those who were supposed to uphold the constitution, you'll understand why it is that you must go for the entire enchilada in the upcoming 2024 election. 

THERE HAS TO BE A CLEAN SWEEP OF THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE, WITH PRESIDENT BIDEN AND VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS BEING RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT.   There's no third party!  Staying home, or abstaining for voting means you're voting for T-rump and for the further erosion of your rights.  If you are telling Black people their votes don't count, you're a traitor to your people as well as a fool. 

If you are under the illusion that you have a "choice" then WTFU - because you don't  - at least not at present time.  2025 is our turning point - it is the point during which all the ducks are in a row - that is, if we have done our job in 2024 and swept out the trash from the Senate and the House. 

And if we aren't careful, the subprime court will have exonerated t-rump, vacated the 14th Amendment, and knocked the wind out of the 91 endictments.  If they get away with it, you'll also see them say that the president can get away with murder, fraternize with the enemy, and shoot anyone they want in broad daylight with impunity.  It's headed that way, and even more reason to make sure you exercise your right to vote!

Never has VOTE BLUE, NO MATTER WHO been more important. 

As several ministers and others have been wiseley telling their congregations -"No one is coming to save us - so we have to save ourselves - and VOTING IS THE ONLY WAY RIGHT NOW!"  So when you hear some of your more famous negro celebrities talking about their admiration for T-rump, the first thing that should spring to your mind is how much under the table money have they been paid to betray their own people.  

You should also be thinking of our elders and ancestors who risked their lives and stood up against the racists so that we would have a better chance at life - all the hard work and great progress they have made in our behalf are being deliberately dismantled by a renegade subprime court, and a megalomaniacal fool who embraces our enemies, while undermining our democracy. 

I shouldn't have to tell you that you have to make sure you follow Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network on Saturday Mornings 9:00AM EST, and Roland Martin Unfiltered nightly - to get the real truth about what's really happening with our rights, our votes.  Instead watching the slanted propaganda they call the nightly news, watch JOY ANN REID, catch the talk shows: STEPHEN COLBERT, SETH MEYER, JIMMY FALLON, JIMMY KIMMEL who use their humor to point out the stupidity that the news media is obiously too lax to point out.  Or better yet, REV. DR. AL SHARPTON OF NATIONAL ACTION NETWORK, OR ROLAND MARTIN OF ROLAND MARTION UNFILTERED! - who pull no punches when it comes to pointing out the hypocracy of the repuglycon party (yes! I said it twice - we get too much misinformation - so we have to be intentional about who we get our info from! 

 

I shouldn't have to tell you stop watching the clown show being put on by T-rump to divert  you, and the rest of the world and the meanstream media from what is really happening to our rights.   While we sit here and debate each other about Biden's age, the repuglycons ae securing all kinds of offenses against us.

Stop listening to fools joking about President Biden's age, and find out about the real positive effects and benefits his initiatives  and Vice President Harris have on Black people, our economies and our future.  Instead of watching the clown show put on by the mean stream media such as Fox's false news, or News Max, check out THE WHITE HOUSE on YouTube - and make sure you take notes so you can refute lies from other misinformed individuals.  Once you do that, you'll realize that Biden has gotten more done in the three plus years he's in office that most other Presidents in history - with the exception of President Lyndon Baines Johnson. 

America is definitely not perfect.  There have been major transgressions against us and other non-white people.  However, at this juncture, it appears that there's nowhere else for us to live as a people.  And if we don't defend it, and regain our rights - then, as Sista Souljah said in her famous album: "SLAVERY IS BACK IN EFFECT."  

And, if that isn't what you want - then it's time for us to pool our resources, unite our efforts, energies, and votes to put a stop to the evil that is being leveled against us from all sides..

Thanks to James Carville for having the courage and wisdom to say on camera what so many are saying under their collective breaths and behind closed doors.  FOR BEING STRAIGHT WITH NO CHASER!

Whatever law or BOGUS RULES that have been erected to prevent us from having our rights must be considered racist and illegal and not to be respected or adhered to; and must be thwarted and reversed by ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

PS:  I started writing this last night about 3:00AM on March 3, 2024.  But of course, since then the subprime court has allowed the miscreant in chief to remain on the ballot for the presidential election thus nullifying the 14th Amendment.  I guess that should have been expected given their track record to date.

 

I wonder if that means we should have a referendum whether or not we should expand the subprime court in order to hopefully make it supreme?  I would have said "again" but the record shows that there has been little they have done in our behalf or favor - except during the time Thurgood Marshall was on the bench.  And he held onto his  life as long as he could - just like Ruth Bader Ginsberg.  Since then, the "scrotum's" track record has been in the toilet.  Is now the time for America to say "flush!?"

Let me start on a serious note.  Jill, Kamala, Doug, and I, and members of our administration are here to send a message to the country and, quite frankly, to the world: The free press is a pillar -- maybe the pillar -- of a free society, not the enemy.  (Applause.) Thomas Jefferson wrote -- you all know this quote.  Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate…to prefer the latter.”   To Evan’s parents Ella, Mikhail, and sister Danielle, as I’ve told you in person: We -- not just me -- we all stand with you.   Evan went to report in Russia to shed light on the darkness that you all escaped from years ago.   Absolute courage.  A handwritten letter from prison to his family, Evan wrote, quote, “I am not losing hope.”  (Applause.)   In an interview, his mom Ella said, “One of the American qualities that we absorbed is to be optimistic.  That’s where we stand right now.”        The White House provided me with the text of President Biden's speech to the White House Correspondents on Saturday,April 29, 2023. I watched the live stream and was rolling on the floor with laughter as the President let out his cynical satirical side - a side many of the Press did not know he possessed.   As I listened to him, I remembered President Obama's statement as to why he chose Joe Biden (a relative unknown at the time) as his running mate.  He basically said that Joe Biden had the tendency to tell it like it is, and was not afraid to make statements, no matter who it was.  And this, folks, was the Joe Biden that addressed the Correspondent's Dinner on Saturday night.  And I couldn't have been more thrilled.  Like I said back in September, 2022 - when he spoke at the Liberty Bell in Philadephia - the President's Gloves are Off!!  I counted at least 20 zappers from President Biden - and the press looked totally stunned.  Those who can't handle it had better DUCK!! She knows from our several conversations -- the conversations with me and my senior staff -- we are not giving up.   As I told you at this dinner last year, as I told you in the Oval Office, you’ve raised an incredible son.  When he was a kid, he was an Eagle Scout, a Big Brother, a born protector, a U.S. Marine -- three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Austin was a fearless journalist and a future lawyer.  As a consequence of Austin showing the world the cost of war, he’s been detained in Syria for nearly 11 years.  It’s simply wrong.  It’s outrageous.  And we are not ceasing our effort to get him, find him, and bring him home.    Tonight, our message is this: Journalism is not a crime.   Evan and Austin should be released immediately, along with every other American held hostage or wrongfully detained abroad.  (Applause.)   Paul Whelan -- unjustly held in Russia for more than four years, whose brave sister I’ve met with and whose family has never quit fighting for Paul.  And I promise you neither will I and neither will this administration until we get him home.   And there are other Americans being unjustly held in Iran, Venezuela, China, and elsewhere.  Their stories may not make headlines or hashtags, but every day -- every day, their family looks at that empty chair at the kitchen table -- birthdays, anniversaries, holidays without them.  The pain of living in limbo.  In a sense, it’s almost worse than the pain of having lost a child and looking at that empty chair.  The stress of not knowing.  The sorrow of uncertainty.    But I want them and their families to know Jill and I understand.  We see them.  They are not forgotten.  And I promise you I am working like hell to get them home.    As a nation, we’ll never give up on hope.  Things can get better.  Things can turn.  Things can change.   Tonight, unlike last year, Brittney Griner is here with her wife Cherelle. Brittney -- where you are, kid?  Stand up.  Come on.  (Applause.)  I love this woman.  Love you, Brittney.   This time last year, we were praying for you, Brittney, hoping you knew how hard all of us were fighting for your release.It’s great to have you home.  And, boy, I can hardly wait to see you back on the court, kid.  Remember your promise.  I get to bring my granddaughter, my All-State girl, to see you.  Right?   Because of our unrelenting efforts, we’ve been able to bring home dozens of hostages and wrongfully detainees -- wrongful detainees from Afghanistan, Burma, Haiti, Iran, Rwanda, Venezuela, across West Africa, and around the world.  But we’re doing everything we can to prevent these cases from occurring in the first place. For example, the State Department added the threat of detention as a new risk indicator to its travel advisories to go along with the threat of kidnapping to warn Americans where these threats are highest abroad.   I also recently signed an executive order increasing the consequences for criminal groups and terrorists who engage in the appalling practice of treating human beings as bargaining chips, political pawns.  And just two days ago, my administration announced the first sanctions under this new authority, punishing individuals and security services in Russia and Iran who’ve been part of the wrongful detention of Americans.   Above all, across the government, experts are working day and night to bring our fellow Americans home, much of which, as you well know, we can’t talk about.  Concern that it will backfire.  But my commitment is to bring them home, just as I know your commitment is to continue to be a free and fearless press.   And that’s what we honor tonight.   And this is not hyperbole: You make it possible for ordinary citizens to question authority -- and, yes, even to laugh at authority -- without fear or intimidation.   That’s what makes this nation strong.   So, tonight, let us show ourselves and the world our strength, not just by the example of our power, but by the power of our example.   Folks, I know a lot has changed in the press.  I’ve had a lot of conversations with a lot of you.  This is not your father’s press from 20 years ago.  No, I’m serious.  And you all know it better than I do.  But still, it is absolutely consequential and essential. AT THIS POINT PRESIDENT BIDEN TOOK OFF THE SOMBER AND PUT ON THE SATIRE! Hang on to your hats, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!  I personally counted at least 16 different zingers - see how many you come up with!  After all, I believe in the First Amendment -- not just because my good friend Jimmy Madison wrote it.  (for those of you who did not study American History James Madison was the 4th president of the US - 1809 to 1817)   In a lot of ways, this dinner sums up my first two years in office.    I’ll talk for 10 minutes, take zero questions, and cheerfully walk away.   Yeah, I know, I just announced my reelection campaign.   Some of you -- some of you scooped that I’d announce in a video.  But, really, you really all thought in your heart that I’d just blurt it out, didn’t you?   And, look, I get that age is a completely reasonable issue.  It’s on everybody’s mind.And everyone -- by “everyone” I mean the New York Times.  Headline: “Biden’s advanced age is a big issue.  Trump’s, however, is not.”   Sorry, that was a New York Times Pitchbot.  I apologize. I love that guy.  I should do an interview with him.   You might think I don’t like Rupert Murdoch.  That’s simply not true.  How could I dislike the guy who makes me look like Harry Styles?    You call me old?  I call it being seasoned.  You say I’m ancient?  I say I’m wise.  You say I’m over the hill?  Don Lemon would say that’s a man in his prime.   Folks, it’s wonderful to be back here again, proving I haven’t learned a damn thing.    I want everybody to have fun tonight, but please be safe.   If you find yourself disoriented or confused, it’s either you’re drunk or Marjorie Taylor Greene.   The stunned look on the face of some of the right wingnut reporters in the audience told it all - he had totally blindsided them.  I was laughing myself silly.   Tam, thank you for hosting us.  I love NPR (leans into the microphone) -- because they whisper into the mic like I do.   But not everybody loves NPR.  Elon Musk tweeted that it should be defunded.  Well, the best way to make NPR go away is for Elon Musk to buy it.  (Laughter and applause.)  And that’s more true than you think.   Anyway.   This dinner is one of the two great traditions in Washington.  The other one is underestimating me and Kamala.  Well, the truth is we really have a record to be proud of.  Vaccinated the nation.  Transformed the economy.  Earned historic legislative victories and midterm results.  But the job isn’t finished.  I mean -- it is finished for Tucker Carlson.   Another zinger that had the audience going  "Ooooooh!!"    THE PRESIDENT:  What are you wooing about like that? Like you think that’s not reasonable?  Give me a break. Just give me a break.   Look, like I often say, don’t compare me to the Almighty, compare me to the alternative.  We added 12 million jobs, and that's just counting the lawyers to -- who defended the president (T-rump).   I had a lot of Ron DeSantis jokes ready, but  Mickey Mouse beat the hell out of me and got there first.   Now, look -- can’t be too rough on the guy.  After his reelection as governor, he was asked if he had a mandate.  He said, “Hell no, I’m straight.”   “I’m straight.”    I’ll give you time to think that one through.  You got it?   Look, you all keep reporting my approval rating is at 42 percent.  But what do you -- but I think you don’t know this: Kevin McCarthy called me and asked me, “Joe, what the hell is your secret?”  I’m not even kidding about that one.   The Speaker is trying to claim a big win this week, but the last time Republicans voted on something this -- that hapless, it took 15 tries.   AUDIENCE:  Oooh --   THE PRESIDENT:  That was good.   Look, it’s great the cable news networks are here tonight.  MSNBC owned by NBC Universal.  Fox News owned by Dominion Voting Systems.  Last year, your favorite Fox News reporters were able to attend because they were fully vaccinated and boosted.  This year, with that $787 million settlement, they’re here because they couldn’t say no to a free meal.   And hell, I’d call Fox honest, fair, and truthful, but then I could be sued for defamation. It ain’t nothing compared to what they do to me.    Look, I hope the Fox News team finds this funny.  My goal is to make them laugh as hard as CNN did when they read the settlement.  But then again, CNN was like, “Wow, they actually have $787 million?   Whoa!!"   Folks, I go where the people are -- “The Daily Show.” Roy is a great guy.  He once dubbed me the Jay-Z of Delaware.  Don’t let that look on your face.  You did.    Tonight he asked me to keep it short.  He even offered me 10 bucks if I’d keep it under 10 minutes.  That’s a switch: a President being offered hush money.   Roy Wood Jr., of the Daily Show Did the Keynote Roast At the White House Correspondent's Dinner   Look, I’m going to leave the jokes to the pros.  But let me conclude on a genuinely serious note:   Roy was born in Birmingham, Alabama.  He graduated from a great HBCU, Florida A&M (FAMU).   He started in journalism to follow in the footsteps of his father, Roy Wood Sr., who covered the Civil Rights Movement.   During Black History Month this year, I hosted the screening of the movie “TILL.”  The story of Emmett Till and his mother is a story of a family’s promise and loss and a nation’s reckoning with hate, violence, and the abuse of power.   It’s a story that was seared into our memory and our conscience -- the nation’s conscience -- when Mrs. Till insisted that an open casket for her murdered and maimed 14-year-old son be the means by which he was transported.  She said, “Let the people see what I’ve seen.”   The reason the world saw what she saw was because of another hero in this story: the Black press. That’s a fact.  Jet Magazine, the Chicago Defender, and other Black radio and newspapers were unflinching and brave in making sure America saw what she saw.  And I mean it.   Ida B. Wells once said, and I quote, “The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon the wrongs.”  “Turn the light of truth upon the wrongs.” That’s the sacred view, in my view.  That’s the sacred charge of a free press.  And I mean that.   That’s what someone we still miss so much - who you honored posthumously - stood for:  Gwen Ifill.  You know, she was among the very best.  We talked about it at the table.  She moderated my first debate for Vice President and was a trusted voice for millions of Americans.  Gwen understood that the louder the noise, the more it’s on all of us to cut through the noise to the truth.  The truth matters.   NOTE:  I put the following is a golden nugget from President Biden: "As I said last year at this dinner, a poison is running through our democracy and parts of the extreme press.  The truth buried by lies, and lies living on as truth.   Lies told for profit and power.  Lies of conspiracy and malice repeated over and over again, designed to generate a cycle of anger, hate, and even violence.  A cycle that emboldens history to be buried, books to be banned, children and families to be attacked by the state, and the rule of law and our rights and freedoms to be stripped away.  And where elected representatives of the people are expelled from statehouses for standing for the people.    I’ve made clear that we know in our bones -- and you know it too -- our democracy remains at risk.  But I’ve also made it clear, as I’ve seen throughout my life, it’s within our power, each and every one of us, to preserve our democracy.  We can.  We must.  We will.   I’d like to make a toast -- if I had a glass.  (Laughter.)   My grandfather Ambrose Finnegan said, “If you ever make a toast without liquor, you got to hold it in your left hand.”  (Laughter.)  You all think I’m kidding.  I’m not.  I’m probably the only Irishman you’ve ever met who’s never had a drink in his life.  Anyway.  I’d like to make a toast, seriously.   "At this inflection point in history, let us commit that we’ll be a nation that will embrace light over darkness, truth over lies, and finally, finally, finally restore the soul of the nation."   Hear, hear.  (A toast is offered.)   Ladies and gentleman --  I’m going to turn this over to Roy.  Roy, the podium is yours.  I’m going to be fine with your jokes, but I’m not sure about Dark Brandon.  (The President puts on sunglasse similar to the ones Stephen Colbert wears when imitating the President on the Late Show on CBS)   All yours, pal - the President hands the mike to Roy Wood Jr from THE DAILY SHOW Upon taking the mic from President Biden, Roy Wood Jr. picked up from the President's comical genius: Mr. President, I think you left some of your confidential material here.  Never mind, I'll take care of it... PRESIDENT BIDEN TAKES OFF THE GLOVES: FASCISM HAS NO PLACE IN AMERICA!!

Hello All:

The gloves are off at last!! - And I'm proud to say that I was there when it happened.

On Thursday, September 1, 2022 President Joe Biden decided to make it official and call a spade a spade - by saying FASCISM HAS NO PLACE IN AMERICA.  Yes!! Just what we've all been waiting for.  The President was live, and in living color in Philadelphia, PA - the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection, addressing several hundred selected guests and a bevy of media from all over the country, and livestreamed across the nation.  I don't know who was more excited - the audience or me.  The info had already been leaked that he was going to take a stand against the growing trend to establish an  authoritarian dictatorship under the maggot/maga repuglycons, set in motion by ersatz "president" T-rump.

And President Biden did not disappoint as he held forth on the danger facing us all in the wake of January 6, 2021, and the increasing threat America. 

As usual, I am providing my annotated transcription of President Biden's speech, hoping to convey the power behind his words.  As most of my followers are aware, I don't do sound bytes.  I'm totally committed to your getting the full impact of the President's speech.  I truly hope I have done him justice.

Some notes: Where President Biden says "MAGA" - I have inserted "maggot."  Where he says "Republican," I have inserted "repuglycon" - an acronym meaning reprehensible, repulsive, ugly, underhanded, unscrupulous, con artists and contrarians - which more appropriately depicts the negativity these miscreants epitomize. 

I have also put the most salient points of the President's address in ALL CAPS, and those that really should be remembered, and quoted widely in FEDERAL BLUE - as stand alones that can and should be remembered and repeated.   - for our youth and for the adults who are responsible for getting out there and making sure this MIDTERM IS A DECISIVE LANDSLIDE IN FAVOR OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, AND FOR SAVING THE SOUL OF AMERICA.

As an African American,  former educator, historian, activist, and writer, I see President Biden's speech as a defining moment in history, in much the same way  as Lincoln's  Gettysburg address.  I think it should be regarded in that same manner.  The tragedy of our current educational system is that most of our schools no longer offer CIVICS classes.  As a result our youth have little to no knowledge of the constitution, their rights, what their government does, and other essential information.  This ignorance is, in part, responsible for the rise we are witnessing in fascist behavior today.   Civics, along with history, ethics, vocational education, and other essentials must to be reinstated to our educational system immediately.  Students, and a great many adults, need to learn, first hand, what our President and this country truly stand for; not the perfidious machinations of miscreants like T-rump, DeSantis, McConnell, Graham and others of their ilk who lie, distort, and subvert information for their own negative ends.   

 

The slide down the ooze of destruction has been abetted by the meanstream media for far too long. They've been giving T-rump free publicity under the guise of being news - also known as propaganda.   Important information has been relegated to soundbytes - devoid of the true context and importance.  While President Biden gets 5 minutes on the meanstream media, T-rump gets 15 to 20 minutes - over and over ad nauseum.  But not me! Not ECLECTICALLY BLACK NEWS!!!  Now is the time to really focus in on the fact that as Black journalists,  it's all our responsibilities to refute the lies and write the truth.   I'M asking my fellow journalists, bloggers, pundits, etc.  - to stop the madness and deal with the fact that if we don't get this right, if we don't begin to send out the message, expose the lies - the BS  about the duplicitous, lying nature of the former incumbent- we will all be goose stepping, under the heels of  a maniacal fool who thinks it's amusing to spread lies, pit people against each other, steal government secrets, and start riots - all because he is bent on establishing a dictatorship in America.  

 

We have to tell the truth and shame the devils.  This may be the last time - we have to drive the point home to our readers in every publication, every news article we write about the predator in chief.  That's our job - our role as BLACK journalists.  MAKE SURE OUR READERS KNOW THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THEY CAN DO IS REGISTER, VOTE AND TURN OUT EN MASS FOR THE MIDTERM ELECTION - THE ELECTION WHICH WILL MAKE OR BREAK THEM, AS WELL AS THIS NATION - IF WE DON'T MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A CLEAR MAJORITY OF DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS - BOTH THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPS - WE ARE DOOMED.  EVERY TAG OF EVERY ARTICLE THAT GOES OUT FROM US OVER THE NEXT TWO MONTHS MUST SAY "OUR BLACK MIDTERM VOTES MATTER!"

:President Joe Biden at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA - Fascism has no place in America

 

 

As the band played "HAIL TO THE CHIEF" PRESIDENT with FIRST LADY JILL BIDEN at his side, emerged from the motorcade to Independence Hall park, to address the nation:

"My fellow Americans:  I speak to you tonight from Sacred Ground in America - Independence Hall in the City of Philadelphia.  This is where America made it's Declaration of Independence to the world - that was nearly three centuries ago.  It was an idea unique among nations - an  America where all are created equal.  This is where the United States Constitution was written and debated.  This is where we set in motion the most extraordinary experiment in self government the world has ever known with three simple words "WE, THE PEOPLE." WE THE PEOPLE - these two Documents and the Ideas they embodied: equality, democracy are the rock upon which this nation is built.  They are how we became the greatest nation on earth. They are why, for more than two centuries, America has been a beacon to the world. 

"I came here tonight because EQUALITY AND DEMOCRACY ARE UNDER ASSAULT!  We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise.  So tonight, I come to this place, where it all began, to speak as plainly as I can to the nation; as plainly as I can about the threats we are facing as a nation; about the power we have in our own hands to meet these threats; and about our own incredible future, the lives in front of us, if only we choose it.

"We must never forget WE, THE PEOPLE ARE THE TRUE HEIRS OF THE AMERICAN EXPERIMENT that began more than two centuries ago.  WE, THE PEOPLE have burning inside of each of us the flame of Liberty that was lit here at Independence Hall - the flame that lit our way through our revolution, civil war, sufferage, the great depression, world wars, Civil Rights.  That sacred flame still burns.  Now, in our time, as we build an America that is more prosperous, free and just, that is the work of my presidency - a mission I believe in with my whole soul.

"But first, we must be honest with each other - and with ourselves.  Too much has been happening today that IS NOT NORMAL.  Donald T-rump and the Maga(maggot) Republicans (repuglycons) represent an extremism that threatens the very foundation of our republic.  And I want to be very clear - very clear up front - that not every Republican (repuglycon), not even the majority of Republicans are Maga (maggot) repuglycons.  Not every republican embraces their extreme ideology.  I know because I've been able to work with these mainstream Republicans (repuglycons).  There's no question that the Repuglycon party today has been dominated, driven, intimidated by Donald T-rump and the maga (maggot) repuglycons.  That is a threat to this country.

"These are hard things!  But I'm an American President - I'm not the President of Red America, Blue America, but of all America.  I believe it is my duty - my duty to level with you; to tell you the truth, no matter how difficult; no matter how painful. 

"And here, in my view, is what is true:  The maga (maggot repuglycons) republicans do not respect the Constitution.  They do not believe in the rule of law; they do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election.  And working right now, as I speak in state after state to get power to decide elections in America according to their cronies; empowering election denyers, and to undermine democracy itself.   Maggot forces are determined to take this country backwards - backwards to an America where you have: No right to choose;

No right to privacy

No right to contraception

No right to marry who you love

They promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice; to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.

"They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021 brutally attacking law enforcement, not as insurrectionists who placed a dagger at the throat of our democracy, but as 'patriots!  And they see their MAGA/maggot failure to stop the peaceful transfer of power, after the 2020 election, as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections.  They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people.  This time they're determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people.  That's why respected conservatives, like federal circuit court judge Michael Luttig, has called T-rump an extreme maggot repuglycons - 'a clear and present danger to our democracy.'

"While the threat to American Democracy is real, I want to say as clearly as we can: 

WE ARE NOT POWERLESS IN THE FACE OF THESE THREATS. 

WE ARE NOT BYSTANDERS IN THIS ONGOING ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY. 

THERE ARE FAR MORE AMERICANS  - FAR MORE AMERICANS!!! - FROM EVERY BACKGROUND AND BELIEF WHO REJECT THE EXTREME MAGGOT/MAGA IDEOLOGY, THAN THOSE WHO ACCEPT IT!!! 

And folks!  It's in our power, it's in our hands  - yours and mine -  to STOP THE ASSAULT ON AMERICAN DEMOCRACY!  I believe America is at an inflection point.  One of those moments that determine the shape of everything that's to come after it.  And now AMERICA MUST CHOOSE TO MOVE FORWARD or TO MOVE BACKWARDS. To build a future or to obsess about the past.  To be a NATION OF HOPE AND UNITY AND OPTIMISM, or a nation of fear, division, and of darkness.   The maggot repuglycons have made their choice - they embrace anger, they thrive on chaos, they live not in the light of truth, but in the shadow of lies.

But together, together we can choose a different path.  WE CAN CHOOSE A BETTER PATH  - FORWARD TO THE FUTURE - FUTURE OF POSSIBILITY; A FUTURE TO BUILD AND DREAM AND HOPE.  AND WE'RE ON THAT PATH MOVING AHEAD. 

I know this nation.  I know you, the American People.  I KNOW YOUR COURAGE; I KNOW YOUR HEARTS, AND I KNOW OUR HISTORY.  This is a nation that HONORS OUR CONSTITUTION.  We do not reject it.  This is a nation that believes in the rule of law.  We do not repudiate it.  This is a nation that RESPECTS FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS.  WE HONOR THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.  WE DO NOT DENY IT!!

This is a nation that REJECTS VIOLENCE AS A POLITICAL TOOL.  We do not encourage violence.  WE are still an America that believes in HONESTY,  DECENCY, AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS. 

Patriotism, liberty and justice for all - hope!! These are still possibilities - WE'RE STILL AT OUR CORE A DEMOCRACY. 

And yet, history tells us that blind loyalty to a single "leader," and the willingness to engage in political violence is fatal to a democracy.   For a long time we told ourselves that our American Democracy is guaranteed.  But it's NOT.  WE HAVE TO DEFEND IT!!! PROTECT IT!!! STAND UP FOR IT!!! EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.

That's why tonight, I'm asking our nation to COME TOGETHER UNITE BEHIND THE SINGLE PURPOSE OF DEFENDING OUR DEMOCRACY, REGARDLESS OF YOUR IDEOLOGY.  

DEMOCRATS, REPUBLICANS, MAINSTREAM AMERICANS MUST BE DEPENDED UPON ABOVE ALL ELSE TO STAND UP FOR AMERICAN DEMOCRACY.    WE'RE ALL CALLED BY DUTY AND CONSCIOUSNESS TO STAND UP TO EXTREMISTS WHO PUT THEIR OWN PURSUIT OF POWER ABOVE ALL ELSE.  Democrats, Independents, Mainstream Republicans  we must be stronger, more determined and more committed to saving American Democracy, than maggot repuglycons are bent on destroying American Democracy. 

WE, THE PEOPLE WILL NOT LET ANYONE, OR ANYTHING TEAR US APART.  Today there are dangers around us. WE CANNOT ALLOW THEM TO PREVAIL.  We hear, you've heard it - more and more talk about violence as an acceptable political tool in this country.  IT'S NOT!! IT CAN NEVER BE AN ACCEPTABLE TOOL!!!

So I want to say this, plain and simple:  THERE'S NO PLACE FOR POLITICAL VIOLENCE IN AMERICA - PERIOD!!! NONE!!! EVER!!!  (thunderous applause - and I heard myself shout AMEN!!) 

You saw law enforcement brutally attacked on January 6th.  You've seen elected officials, poll workers - many of them volunteers from both parties - subjected to intimidation and death threats.  And, can you believe it? FBI agents - just doing their jobs as directed, facing threats to their own lives from their own fellow citizens.  On top of that, there are public figures today - yesterday, and the day before, predicting, and all but calling for mass violence and rioting in  the streets (Lindsay Graham springs to mind/GDW).  THIS is INFLAMMATORY!!  IT'S DANGEROUS!!  It's against the rule of law. 

And WE THE PEOPLE MUST SAY THIS IS NOT WHO WE ARE!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, YOU CAN'T BE PRO-INSURRECTIONISTS AND PRO AMERICAN!!  THEY'RE INCOMPATIBLE. 

WE CAN'T ALLOW VIOLENCE TO BE NORMALIZED IN THIS COUNTRY!!! IT'S WRONG!!!  We each have to reject political violence with all the moral clarity and conviction this nation can muster.  NOW!!  

WE CAN'T LET THE INTEGRITY OF OUR ELECTIONS BE UNDERMINED; FOR THAT IS AN PATH TO CHAOS. 

Look, I know politics can be fierce, mean and nasty in America.  I get it!!  I believe in the give and take of politics; in disagreement and debate and descent.  We're a big, complicated country.  BUT DEMOCRACY ENDURES ONLY IF WE, THE PEOPLE RESPECT THE GUARDRAILS OF THE REPUBLIC.  ONLY IF WE, THE PEOPLE ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS; ONLY IF WE, THE PEOPLE SEE POLITICS - NOT AS TOTAL WAR, BUT THE MEDIATION OF OUR DIFFERENCES  - DEMOCRACY CANNOT SURVIVE WHEN ONE SIDE BELIEVES THAT THERE ARE ONLY TWO OUTCOMES TO AN ELECTION:  EITHER THEY WIN, OR THEY WERE CHEATED!!  That's where the maggot repuglycons are today.  They don't understand what every patriotic American knows: YOU CAN'T LOVE YOUR COUNTRY ONLY WHEN YOU WIN!  IT'S FUNDAMENTAL!

American Democracy only works, only if we choose to respect the rule of law, and the institutions that were set up in this Chamber behind me.  Only if we respect our legitimate political differences. 

NOTE:  The entire time the  President was speaking, there were hecklers with loud truck horns and megaphones trying to taunt him and disrupt his speech.  In the back of my mind I wished the police would have gone out and stopped them - but then, we all know that would have been a T-rump maggot/maga move.

I WILL NOT STAND BY AND WATCH - I WILL NOT ALLOW THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE BE OVERTURNED BY WILD CONSPIRACY THEORIES AND BASELESS EVIDENCE RECLAIMING EVIDENCE OF FRAUD.  I WILL NOT STAND BY AND WATCH ELECTIONS IN THIS COUNTRY STOLEN BY PEOPLE WHO SIMPLY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT THEY LOST!

AND HAVING YOUR VOTE COUNTED BE TAKEN FROM YOU - AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!  (at this moment, I feel it my duty to reiterate this is the time for President Biden to sign an EXECUTIVE PROCLAMATION RESTORING AND PROTECTING THE VOTING RIGHTS OF AFRICAN AMERICANS, AND TO VACATE ALL STATE LAWS THAT WOULD SERVE TO BLOCK OUR FRANCHISE - immediately, if not sooner - GD-W).

AS YOUR PRESIDENT, I WILL DEFEND OUR DEMOCRACY WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING AND I'M ASKING EVERY AMERICAN TO JOIN ME!!!

Throughout our history, Americans have often made the greatest progress coming out of some of our darkest moments like you're hearing on that bull horn (hecklers on the outside were becoming louder and louder).  I believe we can and must do that again - and we are.  Maggot repuglycons look at America and see carnage and darkness, and despair.  They spread fear and lies  - lies told for profit and power. 

But, I see a different America.  AN AMERICA WITH AN UNLIMITED FUTURE.  AN AMERICA THAT'S ABOUT TO TAKE OFF.  I hope you see it as well.  Just look around. I believe we can lift America from the depths of Covid, so WE PASSED THE LARGEST ECONOMIC RECOVERY PACKAGE SINCE FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT, AND TODAY AMERICA'S ECONOMY IS FASTER, STRONGER THAN ANY OTHER ADVANCED NATION.  AND WE  HAVE MORE TO GO!!

I BELIEVE IN THE BUILD BETTER AMERICA, SO WE PASSED THE BIGGEST INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT SINCE PRESIDENT DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER; AND WE NOW EMBARK ON A DECADE OF REBUILDING THE NATION'S ROADS, BRIDGES, HIGHWAYS, PORTS, WATER SYSTEMS, HIGH SPEED INTERNET, RAILROADS.

I BELIEVE WE CAN MAKE AMERICA SAFER, SO WE PASSED THE MOST SIGNIFICANT GUN SAFETY LAWS SINCE PRESIDENT CLINTON.

I BELIEVE WE CAN GO FROM BEING THE HIGHEST COST FOR PRESCRIPTIONS IN THE WORLD, TO MAKING PRESCRIPTIONS, DRUGS AND HEALTHCARE MORE AFFORDABLE; SO WE PASSED THE MOST SIGNIFICANT HEALTH CARE REFORM SINCE PRESIDENT OBAMA SIGNED THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT. 

I BELIEVE WE CAN CREATE A CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE AND SAVE THE PLANET, SO WE PASSED THE MOST IMPORTANT CLIMATE INITIATIVE - EVER! EVER! EVER! 

The cynics and the critics tell us nothing can get done.  But they're wrong!  THERE'S NOT A SINGLE THING THAT AMERICA CANNOT DO!  NOT A SINGLE THING BEYOND OUR CAPACITY!!!  IF WE DO IT TOGETHER!!

It's never easy.  But we're proving in America NO MATTER HOW LONG THE ROAD, PROGRESS DOES COME!!

I know the last few years have been tough.  But today Covid no longer controls our lives.  MORE AMERICANS ARE WORKING THAN EVER.  BUSINESSES ARE GROWING, AND OUR SCHOOLS ARE OPEN.  MILLIONS OF AMERICANS HAVE BEEN LIFTED OUT OF POVERTY.   MILLIONS OF VETERANS, ONCE EXPOSED TO TOXIC BURN PITS WILL NOW GET WHAT THEY DESERVE AND THEIR FAMILIES WILL GET DESIRED COMPENSATION. 

America's manufacturers have come alive across the heartland; and  the future will be MADE IN AMERICA.  No matter what the white supremacists (Whites with delusions of supremacy) and the extremists (racists) say. 

I MADE A BET ON YOU, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, AND THAT BET IS PAYING OFF - PROVING THAT FROM DARKNESS - THE DARKNESS OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, OF COVID, OF GUN VIOLENCE AND INSURRECTION - WE CAN SEE THE LIGHT.  LIGHT IS NOW VISIBLE.  LIGHT THAT WILL GUIDE US FORWARD. NOT ONLY WORDS,  BUT IN ACTION - ACTION FOR YOU! FOR YOUR CHILDREN! FOR YOUR GRANDCHILDREN!  FOR AMERICA!! 

Even in this moment, with all the challenges we face, I GIVE YOU MY WORD AS A BIDEN, I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE OPTIMISTIC THAN I EVER HAVE ABOUT AMERICA'S FUTURE.  Not because of me, but because of who you are. 

We're going to end cancer as we know it!! Mark my words.   We're going to create millions of new jobs in a clean energy economy.

WE'RE GOING TO THINK BIG!  WE'RE GOING TO MAKE THE 21st CENTURY ANOTHER AMERICAN CENTURY!!! BECAUSE THE WORLD NEEDS US TO.  THAT'S WHERE WE NEED TO FOCUS OUR ENERGY.  NOT ON THE PAST; NOT ON DIVISIVE CULTURE WARS; NOT ON THE POLITICS OF GRIEVANCE - BUT ON A FUTURE WE CAN BUILD TOGETHER. 

The maggot/maga repuglycons believe that for them to succeed, everyone else has to fail.  They believe America - not like I believe about America -

I BELIEVE THIS NATION IS BIG ENOUGH FOR ALL OF US TO SUCCEED - AND THAT IS THE NATION WE'RE BUILDING:  THE NATION WHERE NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND.

I ran for President because I BELIEVE WE'RE IN A BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF THIS NATION. 

I STILL BELIEVE THAT TO BE TRUE.  I BELIEVE THE SOUL IS THE BREATH,THE LIFE, AND THE ESSENCE OF WHO WE ARE.  THE SOUL IS WHAT MAKES US US!! THE SOUL OF AMERICA IS DEFINED BY THE SACRED PROPOSITION THAT ALL ARE CREATED EQUAL IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.  THAT ALL ARE ENTITLED TO BE TREATED WITH DECENCY, DIGNITY AND RESPECT.   THAT ALL DESERVE JUSTICE, AND A SHOT AT LIVES OF PROSPERITY AND CONSEQUENCE.  AND THAT DEMOCRACY MUST BE DEFENDED, FOR DEMOCRACY MAKES ALL THESE THINGS POSSIBLE. 

And it's up to us.  Democracy begins, and must be preserved. WE THE PEOPLE CARRY IT IN THE HABITS OF OUR HEARTS, THROUGH OUR CHARACTER,  OPTIMISM THAT IS TESTED, YET ENDURES.  COURAGE THAT DIGS DEEP WHEN WE NEED IT.   EMPATHY THAT FUELS DEMOCRACY.  THE WILLINGNESS TO SEE EACH OTHER, NOT AS ENEMIES, BUT AS FELLOW AMERICANS.  

 

As I mentioned hecklers tried to disrupt Biden's speech, with bullhorns and loudspeakers, but the President appeared unmoved and noted they were only able to have their freedom of expression, which may differ from his/ours, because in a Democracy, Americans are allowed freedom of speech and expression.  Under a maggot/maga-led situation, bullies probably would have gone out and tried to silence them through physical intimidation. 

Look, our Democracy isn't perfect.  It always has been -- notwithstanding those folks you hear out there  (referring to the hecklers with the bullhorn trying to disrupt the event) - they're entitled to be outrageous; this is a democracy (President Biden got a standing ovation for this statement).  But history and common sense and good manners is something they've never suffered from (LOL).  But history and common sense tells us that opportunity, liberty and justice for all are most likely to come to pass in a Democracy.   We've never fully realized the aspirations of our Founding - but every generation has opened those doors a little bit wider, to include more people who were excluded before. 

"My Fellow Americans, America is an Idea - the most powerful Idea in the history of the world - and it beats in the hearts of the people of this country.  It beats in all our hearts.  It unites America.  It is the American Creed - the idea that America guarantees that everyone be treated with dignity.  It gives hate no safe harbor.  IT INSTILLS IN EVERYONE THE BELIEF THAT NO MATTER WHERE YOU START IN LIFE, THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN'T ACHIEVE!! THAT'S WHO WE ARE!  THAT'S WHAT WE STAND FOR! THAT'S WHAT WE BELIEVE! AND THAT'S PRECISELY WHAT WE'RE DOING.  OPENING DOORS! CREATING POSSIBILITIES! FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE!  AND WE'RE ONLY JUST BEGINNING!!

"Our task is to make our nation free and fair; just and strong; noble and whole!  And this work is the work of Democracy.  The work of this generation.  it's the work of our time - for all time!   We can't afford to leave anyone on the sidelines.  We need everyone to do their part. So speak up! Speak out! Get engaged!

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! 

AND IF WE DO OUR DUTY IN 2022 AND BEYOND, THEN AGES STILL TO COME WILL SAY WE - ALL OF US HERE - WE KEPT THE FAITH; WE PRESERVED DEMOCRACY; WE HEEDED NOT OUR WORST ENEMIES, BUT OUR BETTER ANGELS.

WE PROVED THAT, FOR ALL ITS IMPERFECTIONS, AMERICA IS STILL THE BEACON TO THE WORLD; AN IDEAL TO BE REALIZED! A PROMISE TO BE KEPT!  THERE'S NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT; NOTHING MORE SACRED; NOTHING MORE AMERICAN. THAT'S OUR SOUL; THAT'S WHO WE TRULY ARE.  AND THAT'S WHO WE MUST ALWAYS BE.

I HAVE NO DOUBT - NONE - THAT THIS IS WHO WE WILL BE.  AND THAT WE'LL COME TOGETHER AS A NATION; AND WILL SECURE OUR DEMOCRACY THAT FOR THE NEXT 200 YEARS WE'LL HAVE WHAT WE'VE HAD FOR THE PAST 200 YEARS, THE GREATEST NATION ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

We just need to remember who we are.  WE ARE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! AND MAY GOD PROTECT OUR NATION; AND MAY GOD PROTECT ALL THOSE WHO STAND WATCH OVER OUR DEMOCRACY.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL!  DEMOCRACY!

As I said before, at the beginning of this transcription, "The gloves are off now!"  President Biden's inspiring words should be repeated and shared widely.   I personally think several are powerful  slogans, worthy of being put on a button or T-shirt, or a poster!! Such as "We're in a BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF THIS NATION!!"
