And it's embarrassing to watch when they throw a colleague under the bus for the most specious of reasons. In far too many instances they don't even check for the veracity of the allegations, or the motivations of those who put out specious lies without even the slightest evidence.  It both frightens and infuriates me - and I imagine there are others in our party who probably feel the same way.  When it comes to sticking together, standing up for each other, and going to bat for each other.

I don't get it!!  The most despicable party on the planet right now, the one that has tried to violently overthrow the government, who packed the subprime court with degenerates liars, cheaters, grifters; who block social security and medicare funds for American in need, while lining the pockets of their super rich maggots - manage to stick together, no matter how degenerate they are. 

We, on the other hand, seem to take ten steps back, and dummy up, when anything comes up that might tarnish the reputation of one of our members.  

CASE IN POINT:  The recent allegations and investigations of New York City Mayor Eric Adams for alleged improprieties with campaign fundraising.  The FBI has not revealed who is generating these allegations.  And the toxic meanstream media's ersatz news is trying to make it look as if Mayor Adams - a former member of the NYPD, New York State Senator, Borough President of Brooklyn, would be so stupid as to fudge the funds.  Or that he would have around him anyone who would do such a thing!  It's clear that these are straw dogs trying to distort his reputation.  

And it's not the first time we've allowed one of our own to be taken down by lies and distortions:  

The Cuomo's are a clear stain on who we are as Democrats - We blew it when Governor Mario Cuomo was not re-elected because they were able to float the idea that he had been governor "too long," and it was time for someone else to take the reins.  So New Yorkers took the bait and elected George Pataki - who was to New York as T-rump was to the US - nearly destroying the state, while lining the pockets of repuglycons who were ushered in to dismantle all the benefits New York was known for.  We are still trying to come back from that one.  Then, his son, Governor Andrew Cuomo, who embarrassed T-rump and other ersatz leaders by bringing us through the most heinous pandemic - that killed hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, while the predator in chief sat in Washington and did nothing.  He was on TV, in the community, every day working with the people and the health and care givers to save New Yorkers!  He was a HERO!  All the world was impressed with his leadership!  And yet, when the dust had cleared, and people were on the mend, New Yorkers thanked him by allegations of "womanizing."  My question then, and now, was when did he have the time?   And, of course, the case of Chris Cuomo, who was given the hatchet by CNN, for allegedly standing by the Governor. (Note, CNN wants to be the next FoxFaux News).   They claimed it was a "conflict of interest," for standing for the Governor (his brother) while the Jackass in chief's children were ripping people off in plain sight!

I found this ridiculous in the main. I also found how gullible we NYers can be when certain buzz words were activated, without any true due diligence as to whether the allegations were true; or if these were GOP ploys to weaken our base.

On the surface, we're the "good guys." We are the most advanced, brilliant, artistic, egalitarian city on the planet - and simultaneously also the most gullible, vicious, avaricious. 

As I read the bogus headlines about Mayor Eric Adams, I remembered other times when we were conned into shooting ourselves in the foot by B.S. repugycons who know that we are easily goaded into making stupid moves.  And then, when we realize we've been suckered, it's too late!

Now here we are, as they try to see how much of the envelope can be pushed in order to levy bogus, bullshit charges against Mayor Eric Adams because of some perceived wrongdoing by one of his fundraisers, we're actually speculating his guilt - even guilt by association! Duh!

 

Interestingly enough, while the FBI was called in on this perceived crime, the same thing didn't happen when it was all too apparent that T-rump had the Russians use their AI to shift our votes so that he could be declared the winner in a presidential election where it was clear that he was anything but.  Adding insult to injury, when it was found that our rights as voters were usurped, The We/Democratic Party didn't even demand there be a recount!  We didn't demand a thorough investigation to ascertain whether or not the corruption was a threat to America's security - which, by the way - it clearly was/is!  Somehow we still vacillate when we are still under such threats!  I find it chilling that there are several groups here who are actually planning where they/we will live if America does indeed allow the mendicant in chief to run again and push America into fascism. 

Why is Eric Adams a target?

First of all, and the most obvious reason is because he's BLACK!

No big surprise here.  It's the basis of everything that is leveled against us from jump street - but I prefer to get it out of the way, because the Democrats will hem and haw around it - and it is, for all intents and purposes, the truly big ELEPHANT in the room.

The second reason is because Eric Adams is also a Smart Black Man who Knows What the Heck He's Doing and is Doing it Quite Well!  There's nothing caucasoids hate more than a smart Black man - because it shows up their stupidity.  But, let's face it:  Eric Adams knows NYC inside out, upside down and backwards - from the New York City Transit Authority and the MTA to the NYPD; from the NY State Senate, The Borough President, and now the Mayor.  Eric Adams has studied and learned all that there is to learn about each and every post - and he's done an exemplary job in each of his roles.  As a New Yorker, Eric Adams loves his city and is people, but is in no way fooled by the fact that there are those, with the right kind of dollar incentive, would throw him under the bus, while shaking his hand.  It's not new. But it is  soooo New York!

The allegations that Eric Adams had consorted with outside countries to win the election is just someone trying to throw stuff on the wall to see what sticks.  It patently isn't true.  Not only is it not true, but in a city with more than 190 different nationalities represented, it would be very difficult to be a mayor and not have positive relations and interactions with those who make up this "magnificent mosaic." 

Additionally, last I checked, the US and Turkeye have very friendly ties via NATO, as well as other historical interactions.  To allege some sort of misdoing or bribery on their part in establishing businesses in NYC, or anywhere else, for that matter, shows that folks know nothing about international relations and interactions.  Turkiye is a very beautiful country - rich in culture.  The mayor's visit is nothing underhanded, or untoward.  But, if you are gullible, or stuck on stupid, or subjected to inuendos - you really need to buy a clue!

Federal prosecutors and the F.B.I. are conducting a broad public corruption investigation into whether Mayor Eric Adams’s 2021 election campaign conspired with the Turkish government to receive illegal foreign donations, according to a search warrant obtained by The New York Times.

The investigation burst into public view on Thursday when federal agents conducted an early-morning raid at the Brooklyn home of the mayor’s chief fund-raiser, Brianna Suggs. Ms. Suggs is a campaign consultant who is deeply entwined with efforts to advance the mayor’s agenda.

Investigators also sought to learn more about the potential involvement of a Brooklyn construction company with ties to Turkey, as well as a small university in Washington, D.C., that also has ties to the country and to Mr. Adams.  Remember, Turkeye is an ally and a member of NATO.  So what is this about the construction company?

"According to the search warrant, investigators were also focused on whether the mayor’s campaign kicked back benefits to the construction company’s officials and employees, and to Turkish officials.

"The agents seized three iPhones and two laptop computers, along with papers and other evidence, including something agents identified as “manila folder labeled Eric Adams,” seven “contribution card binders” and other materials, according to the documents. There was no indication that the investigation was targeting the mayor, and he is not accused of wrongdoing. Yet the raid apparently prompted him to abruptly cancel several meetings scheduled for Thursday morning in Washington, D.C., where he planned to speak with White House officials and members of Congress about the migrant crisis.Instead, he hurriedly returned to New York “to deal with a matter,” a spokesman for the mayor said.Appearing at a Día de Muertos celebration at Gracie Mansion on Thursday night, Mr. Adams defended his campaign, saying that he held it “to the highest ethical standards.”He said he had not been contacted by any law enforcement officials, but pledged to cooperate in any inquiry. Mr. Adams said that he returned from Washington to be “on the ground” to “look at this inquiry” as it unfolded."

The warrant suggested that some of the foreign campaign contributions were made as part of a straw donor scheme, where donations are made in the names of people who did not actually give money.  (Actually, this is more of a T-rump ploy)! Investigators sought evidence to support potential charges that included the theft of federal funds and conspiracy to steal federal funds, wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy, as well as campaign contributions by foreign nationals and conspiracy to make such contributions. (Actually, they should have been investigating T-rump and his menials for this - not Mayor Adams.  This is more from his playbook!)

Mr. Adams has boasted of his ties to Turkey, most recently during a flag-raising he hosted for the country in Lower Manhattan last week. The mayor said that there were probably no other mayors in New York City history who had visited Turkey as frequently as he has.

“I think I’m on my sixth or seventh visit,” he said. At least one of those visits happened while he was Brooklyn borough president, when the government of Turkey underwrote the excursion, The Daily News reported. Remember, Turkeye is an ally of the US?

I'm posting it here because we have a tendency to go for sound bytes - but the sin of omission is part of the reason we know so little and end up shooting ourselves in the foot:

Ms. Suggs, who could not be reached for comment, is an essential cog in Mr. Adams’s fund-raising machine, which has already raised more than $2.5 million for his 2025 re-election campaign.  A person with knowledge of the raid said agents from one of the public corruption squads in the F.B.I.’s New York office questioned Ms. Suggs during the search of her home. An F.B.I. spokesman confirmed that “we are at that location carrying out law enforcement action,” referring to Ms. Suggs’s home in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

The agents also served Ms. Suggs with a subpoena directing her to testify before a federal grand jury hearing evidence in Manhattan

The construction company was identified in the warrant,  as KSK Construction Group in Brooklyn, who listed  donated nearly $14,000 to Mr. Adams’s 2021 campaign, according to campaign finance records.

Charles Kretchmer Lutvak, a spokesman for Mr. Adams, said Ms. Suggs was not an employee of City Hall and referred calls to the mayor’s campaign team.

“The campaign has always held itself to the highest standards,” said Vito Pitta, a lawyer for Mr. Adams’s 2021 and 2025 campaigns. “The campaign will of course comply with any inquiries, as appropriate.”

Mr. Pitta added: “Mayor Adams has not been contacted as part of this inquiry.”

The search warrant sought financial records for Ms. Suggs and any entity controlled or associated with her; documents related to contributions to the mayor’s 2021 campaign; records of travel to Turkey by any employee, officer or associate of the campaign; and documents related to interactions between the campaign and the government of Turkey, “including persons acting at the behest of the Turkish government.”

Investigators specified documents relating to Bay Atlantic University, a tiny Turkish-owned institution that opened in Washington, D.C., in 2014. The following year, Mr. Adams visited one of the school’s sister universities in Istanbul, where he was given various certificates and was told that a scholarship would be created in his name.

The warrant also sought electronic devices, including cellphones, laptops or tablets used by Ms. Suggs.

Ms. Suggs, 25, is the latest in a series of individuals tied to Mr. Adams who have attracted interest from law enforcement, including several connected to the mayor’s fund-raising efforts.

The Department of Investigation is also investigating the role of one of the mayor’s top aides in a violent altercation last month at a migrant center in Manhattan.

Mr. Adams has tried to distance himself from these inquiries, arguing that he had limited insight into the events that precipitated them. But the investigation of such a close and longtime adviser might be harder to keep at arm’s length.

In the past two years, Mr. Adams’s re-election campaign has paid Ms. Suggs nearly $100,000 for fund-raising and campaign consulting services via her company, Suggs Solutions, according to city records.

Ms. Suggs worked as an aide to Mr. Adams when he was Brooklyn borough president, and is particularly close with Ingrid Lewis-Martin, who was his deputy at the time and is currently his top adviser.

Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, the assemblywoman who leads the Brooklyn party, said Ms. Suggs was a volunteer fund-raiser who mainly handled logistics. She said she was surprised to learn of the F.B.I. raid.

“What I know of Brianna Suggs, she’s a bright young lady. I think she’s a very honest person, organized. She’s very mild-mannered, a very professional person,” Ms. Bichotte Hermelyn said. “She knows the rules.”

The White House appeared to have been taken by surprise. The mayor’s office called Thursday morning to inform them of the cancellation, a White House aide said.

“I can’t speak to his schedule and why he had to, he could not attend,” said Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary.

The mayor was scheduled to meet with representatives from Congress along with the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, and the mayor of Denver, Mike Johnston.

I said at the outset that Eric Adams is being investigated because he's Black - and I stick to that assertion!  I think it puzzles many caucasoids that an African American can travel to, and make friends in other countries.  They make it look as though there's nowhere in the world where we're welcome unless something underhanded was going on.

I find it interesting and equally damning that the former predator in chief, who was aided in stealing an election by enlisting Russian Ai Technology, visits Putin, Kim Jung Il and other despots on a regular basis, admires and quotes Hitler and others as though they were heroes, and not the degenerates they were, did not receive the same scrutiny.  And, yes, I include the MaraLago debacle in this mix. 

Mayor Adams is on the mark to move New York to higher levels - despite the efforts of Texas and Florida to dismantle our city by deporting people who have already been kicked around the globe - dumping them in New York as though they were throwaways. Their inhumanity should/must be dealt with.  It's a stain on the US that this is continuing to happen.

The effort to destabilize New York, to weaken the economy and pit native New Yorkers against those who have nowhere else to turn, has been a challenge that Mayor Adams has taken on without a lot of assistance from the government; and with the lack of understanding on the part of many fellow New Yorkers, who are likewise struggling to make it.  Trying to pile on more and more to see how much he can take before he breaks is not new in the game of maggot sabotage. It's nothing new!

What New Yorkers need/must do now is stand with him, and help in developing solutions to refugee problems! WE have to give him the benefit of our trust, and have his back when others are trying to stab him in it!

It ain't the first time they've tried to destroy New York!  We made it through Pataki; We made it through the  pandemic! And we will make it through the assaults on Mayor Eric Adams - and assault on Mayor Adams is an Assault on New York City!

I still maintain that people like Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, Santos, Johnson, McCarthy, the former predator in chief,  etc., should be psychoanalized -and if found mentally and morally incompetent, immediately removed from office.  

 

If, in addition, they have committed any crimes against the country, regardless of what their title, position, mental state of mind, they must be treated in the same manner any ordinary citizen, or foreign interloper would be treated, and immediately apprehended, arrested, incarcerated without bail, and bound over for trial.  Being elected to an office in any capacity, when they have betrayed public trust for their own selfish ends relegates them to the same level, or lower, as the so called ordinary citizen who assault or violate their fellow man.

 

In fact, it’s all the more egregious because they hold themselves out to be more entitled than the constituents who voted for them.  

 

No one is above the law!

 

Justice is denied when such perpetrators are allowed to walk away with impunity, immunity while ordinary citizens are criminalized for lesser transgressions.

 

The Constitution which we purport to be governed by, has constantly and continuously been flagrantly violated.

 

Additionally, the attorney general moves too slowly in dealing with these criminal matters for the general populous to take them seriously!!!

 

I keep getting stupid emails claiming that arresting a former president is controversial.  But they fail to mention how controversial it is to have an ersatz former president lead a group of dissidents to assault the nations capitol and try to take away our rights to free and fair elections - such as what happened in from of all of the cameras across the world on January 6, 2021??? 

 

The world is watching as America implodes - we've become a virtual clown/horror show on the brink of fascism, neo-nazism, and lack of moral compass, while simultaneously trying to keep the rest of the world from cannibalizing their neighbors via genocide.

It's past due time to round up these loonies in Congress, put them in the padded cells where they belong, and begin to heal America from a pandemic of hatred, racism, violence, ignorance, poverty and confusion.

 

In other words, it’s time to take out the trash!

 

Fortunately, there are still heroes in this story, who have worked hard to hold the line, keep their promise to American people, stem the slide down the slope that has been greased with the slime of T-rump, McConnell, McCarthy, and the rest.  A foreign invasion could not have done as much damage.   Thankfully, President Biden, Vice president Harris, Congressmembers Waters, Cortez, Mfume, Clarke, Jeffries, and the majority of the Democrats in and out of office are dedicated to stopping the "real steal" - perpetrated by T-rump and the maga maggots who are trying to steal our freedoms, rights, education, while lining their pockets, and those of their cronies via payoffs for undermining the nation.   

Wouldn't it be interesting if those insipid sychophants who follow them like lapdogs realized that they are the real targets - that the reduction of social security, Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, housing and other benefits would most directly impact them.  They are following those who look down on them, but use/abuse their ignorance as a means to grab power and subjugate the us to their dictatorial program.  Somebody should give them the wake up call we've had.  Before they really fall off into the proverbial ditch.

And while we're waking them up to their stupidity, we have to make sure we're not stuck on stupid and fall into the trap of their propaganda about age,  popularity, and other non-essential issues, and other attempts to divide us via meanstream media's false news.  

 

We have an early start on making sure we are all united across the nation - because 2024 is going to be the most important election in the history of modern times.  And we will be the deciding factor.   We are truly in the fight for our lives and those of our children, families and our people.

T-RUMP IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY – ARREST HIM NOW!

For those of us who have had the privilege of having had a real education - prior to the destruction of quality education in the late 1970s - we are more than familiar with the history of World War II and the rise of Adolf Hitler and the NAZI party.  Though we may not have said it aloud, in the  backs of our minds we remember the lessons surrounding Kristallnacht, and other egregious acts of aggression engineered by Adolf Hitler that turned Germany into the most heinous nation of murders, genocide, and atrocities ever in modern history. Because it happened nearly 80 years ago, perhaps many have developed a convenient form of amnesia, or are just plain ignorant, so the signs may go completely over the heads of many Americans.

The fact that the opposition to T-rump's Hitlerian shock and awe and don't give a shit for anybody tactics, coupled by his effectively fanning the flames of hatred and racism against all who were non- repuglycon - can see the parallels clearly in practically everything T-rump has done and is doing before, during and subsequently to his tenure as predator in chief.

The insult to injury is that the news media persists in calling this walking vermin "the president," when there never was ever anything presidential about him.  It boggles the mind why they would persist in this deceptive nomenclature.  The oaf has been the oozing carbunkle on the backside of America from the day he browbeat the repuglycon party into making him their candidate.  The tragedy is that the repuglycons - and by extension many of the Democrats - have yellow streaks a mile wide down their backsides, have been either paid off, or sufficiently threatened into acquiescence or browbeaten into submission.

And, every time the media and our elected officials continuously say “only Donald T-rump could” stop the mob; Donald T-rump caused this, or refer to the menace of his ersatz supporters, they are feeding his perverse narcissistic ego. 

T-rump is a textbook case for the "authoritarian personality" - and yes, there is a book of the exact same title that describes this perversion.  I know there is, because I had to study it when I was a Freshman Student in Hampton Institute. 

He takes great pride and pleasure in destroying or threatening or intimidating people. 

This should be obvious to intelligent, sentient beings - While folks were being chauvinistic towards Hillary Clinton and believing the BS propaganda spread against her, she was actually telling the truth about who he is and what he's about. Our not listening to her is why we're suffering the consequences of this misceant today.

And now, while folks have been watching this walking disaster destroy everything and everyone he touches, there is an evile smirk on his face as he watches people writhing in pain, ignorance, agony trying to figure out why he is doing what he does.  There are those who try to appeal to a reason he does not possess.  There are those who write books warning about the kind of evile he is and has been from birth through whatever the stage of human development he currently occupies.

Years ago I said that T-rump was a megalomaniacal, sadistic, mendacious cretin - who should have never been allowed to even run for president, let alone be allowed to take office - notice I did not say "elected" because he was not elected, he colluded with Russia who materialy changed the number of votes - and, whe Hillary had still won the popular vote, was able to use his own personal billions to buy or intimidate the (s)electoral college.  In fact, one of the members of the electoral college faced so much pressure stepped down rather than stand up for the truth. 

Narcissistic, socio/psychopath T-rump gets pleasure and feels powerful either way - if you are suffering because of his actions - he's happy; if you're praising him or sucking up to him because you're afraid of what he might do - he's happy.  It makes him feel powerful.  It makes him feel that he has the power of life and death over you.  He made the statement that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not be arrested and walk away from it free to move around with impunity.  He meant it.  January 6, 2021 is his test of that statement.  It is his knowing that the US senate and congress are so feckless and spineless that they won't do what needs to be done to punish him.

In retrospect, the entire time of the debate with Hillary, T-rump was not debating her, but talking to his base - sending a message that he was not going to abide by the rules - he has never ever addressed nor abided by, nor adhered to anything that was remotely presidential.  He has always shown his backside to America - from the day he took the oath of office, through the lie about the number of people who came to his inauguration, through the internment of young children, his ersatz wall, his friendship with Putin, his pseudo- enmity with China, when he has more deals with China under the table than anyone else - is clear that he has no regard for America, Democracy, presidency or people in general.

And when Joe Biden made him look like the fool he really is, he feigned a COVID attack, and went into the hospital rather than debate him again, for fear his base would see him for the fool and the idiot he really is.  It was a slick, "sympathy for the devil" move!  It almost worked - Biden actually had said he would do no more attack ads against him while he's convalescing.  There were so many devious things he is able to get away with trickery, lies, deceit - and deflect while pretending to bumble through.  

He's a master genius of delusion.  He says things, supposedly in jest - while at the same time plotting and trying to figure out a way to make it happen.   The dismantling of the postal service - which he announced he would do, the rest of the world was flummoxed when he actually found a fool to make it happen.  The calling together of the different underground vermin - The Proud Boys, etc., the not leaving the White House, not conceding after Biden won - all things he said he would do.  His total lack of respect for any semblance of decency - even in his own family - are his m.o.  And it's an embarrassment to the US, when the rest of the world sees this and sees that we are so lacking in courage and power, that we allowed this crap to drag out for 4 years.  

The  party of Lincoln, the original Republicans, were already hijacked in 1965, when the Democrats took them over in order to punish Lyndon B. Johnson for passing the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts, and the Great Society - things that benefited Black people - those dixiecrats were pissed.  They took their evil with them to the Republican party, and it became the Repuglycons - just as vile and negative - but now even moreso.  When they sold their souls to the TeaParty in backlash against President Obama, it was clear they were really consolidating their heinous, hostile control over the government - first under Boehner, then under McConnell.  But, this current iteration of the Repuglycons - now called T-rump's Repuglycon party, made even Joe McCarthy look like a picnic.  Had his miscreants gotten their way, no doubt, Mike Pence would be swinging from their home made gallows in plain sight.  This is the kind of intimidation that energizes and excites T-rump - a walking terrorist.  That he can garner his own army and make America bend to his will and domination.

Consider the events of January 6 T-rump's as his proof that he can do just that - this was a power move.  This was a sadistic move. This was an act of treason. His defiance of the rules is to prove that white america has no guts.   They're good at shooting Black people in the back, they're good at incarcerating us on "suspicion" but have no guts when it comes to doing the same thing with a mendicant who would have been ecstatic had the Capitol been brought down in shambles - it was a testimony to his power.  It made him in his demented mind, a demi-god (actually he thinks he's a god - LOL)  It makes him think he's uberpowerful - like Hitler - who can cause people to do his bidding and the minions can do nothing to stop him.  They are all going through a form of mental masturbation - trying to finesse the info hoping the right wingnut repuglycons, who have already been bought and sold, would actually grow a pair and and get a heart, and actually turn the ice in their veins back to human blood and rebuke T-rump.

And, while I believe in miracles, it would take an act of God to make it happen.  However, at this point, Impeachment is a good symbology - And, when T-rump comes goosestepping back into DC with his redneck brigades - just remember, you were warned.

What really should boggle all the minds of America is why is this criminal being allowed to live free in Mar A Lago, instead of having been tackled to the ground  by the police, handcuffed, and carted off to jail for inciting violence and riot.  Why was he allowed to fly off scott free, while the Capitol stood in ruins? 

January 6 was a power move - he is flexing his muscles.  He is saying to the Democrats and the rest of America "can't touch this!"  And, if all they do  is have an impeachment hearing - win or lose - all they've done is given him the opportunity to do what Hitler did in Nazi Germany - given him a second chance to build an even bigger base of thugs to come back and really overthrow the government.  He will continue to recruit lowlife bogus "patriots."  He not only has to be impeached - he has to stand trial and be incarcerated and made to pay for his crimes in the same way any other individual who had done the same would do.

His ersatz lawyers are not professional.  They are vapid and weak. They are only there to pretend to defend him.  The repuglycons have already decided to  stonewall the Democrats, and  as the impeachment proceedings go on, they are going to vote for acquittal.  They are going to try to pretend the constitution has not been violated.  They are going to try to wash their hands of the whole thing. This is what he's anticipating here at the hearing, which is why they have not brought on any high powered lawyers.  They don't have to defend him, they don't have to prove anything - they are anticipating the fact that impeachment will fail.  So the lawyers don't have to be good, they have to be warm bodies that can form sentences - not necessarily coherently - because he is still the puppet master for the repuglycon party. 

Frankly, I consider T-rump armed and extremely dangerous.  So why is he not under house arrest?  He's like a walking ak-47 - and if you're in his gunsites, he may not necessarily pull the trigger himself, but has caused others to do so - ask the Governor of Michigan about how she was targeted by T-rump's miinions as they stormed the capital and demanding she be locked up.  It was his test case for he ensuing storming of the Capitol.  He has been threatening to send militia to different states to take over where the governors did not fall lock step with him. Notice, that he got the eff out of New York because Tish James and Governor Cuomo were not playing.  They were ready and willing to expose him, read him the riot act, and throw him under the jail.  To avoid that, he changed his residency to Florida. But that may prove to be his undoing if Floridians perceive his toxic presence to be a menace to their toney society.

January 6 was T-rump's Kristallnacht:

If we don't arrest this maniac - this maggot - not merely impeach him.  If we don't try him in a court of laws for high crimes and treason - it shows we have not learned the lessons of history; we are stuck on stupid, and if this is so, we will get what we deserve - in spades.

So my questions are these:

When is a President not a President?

What are the character traits of a president?

What are the moral characteristics of a president?

What makes us decide this individual, not that, is trustworthy enough with the future and wellbeing of America, and our lives, to be given the accolade?

What is our criteria for president - is it money, ethics, intelligence?

Or have we come so far away from any standard of quality, we will let any miscreant hold the title.

Make no mistake, Americans prize our rules in sports higher than we do the person who is given the responsibility for running the most powerful country in the world. You can be ejected from a game if you are caught cheating.  You will forfeit the game and all games you've won previously for not following the rules.  Yet we will allow an underhanded, foul mouth degenerate to be the president of the US and spend the next four years talking about how awful and ignorant he is - but not do a damned thing about it.

This is the chance - This is our responsibility.

We have absolutely no excuse for not doing so.

God  is watching us - trying to wake us up!  He's already given us COVID, economic downturn, a massive fall from grace - this is our chance - our responsibility to show that we've learned the lesson and will now DO THE RIGHT THING.

Kamala Harris Exits Presidential Race

Hello All:

Senator Kamala Harris has dropped out of the 2020 presidential race. After having put up a valiant campaign, Senator Harris has wisely decided to drop out of the presidential race. Pointing up the inequities of the presidential campaign as it stands in the 21st century - where it is no longer about the best person for the position, but who can spread the most dollars to buy the election. It's no longer about merit or platform; it's about how many lies you can tell to how many people using the slickest media tricks, while buying out the (s)electoral college, the subprime court, and well placed political deviants - as well as foreign intrigue - to make sure that nothing honest Americans do - will actually make a dime's worth of difference in the final analysis. 

 

Whether or not she was my candidate of choice is immaterial - if it boils down to having to megalomaniacal fools duking it out over who has the most buck for the banging America is going to take - Americans need to consider whether or not, going forward, is this what we want for our country and ourselves. 

 

Kamala Harris had some very salient points - she had some baggage - but she went in to the fray as a candidate on a relatively level playing field. She laid out her campaign, competed in the debates - some days she did a fantastic job, other days not so great - but she was not trying to buy the public by undermining their values.

 

Her exiting this race, which will, no doubt be followed by others, presages a trend that we had better nip in the bud immediately, if not sooner. And that is, if regular Americans are being forced out because big money has been allowed to taint our elections - what the heck are we doing - and why the heck are we allowing it to happen?

I hear others stating that the ones with the big bucks will be the final candidates - so the rest are really just wasting their time and spinning their wheels.  If it is now an America of the big bucks - then the rest of the country is doomed to be under the dictates of fools, egomaniacs, dilettantes, racists and avaricious cretins - and if we let it happen, we get what we deserve.   I think we had better make sure that we really are in charge here - despite the dollars - the big bucks - that are being spent to propagandize and lie to the public - we had better be able to see through the sham and the scams that are being played on us.

Interesting, while we as individuals are limited in how much we can contribute candidates, there is no such edict against big business doing the same thing - so corporate money - national and foreign - is actually buying our candidates, while we sit by and watch it as if we have not role to play in this.

The ceiling needs to be reinstated on the amount that can be contributed to a campaign, spent on a campaign, as well as the ethics that go to what a candidate can say or do in the pursuit of the nomination.

While Kamala Harris' reputation as a prosecutor also dogged her candidacy, especially with African American voters, she was no means as heinous as the incumbent in the White House, and some of her contenders.  Having been on the enforcement side of the law, she, no doubt, would have unique insight as to what was needed to rectify the situation of mass incarceration and extended imprisonment.  Something most of the candidates have no insight about.  This could have been an opportunity to have a president who might have made a critical difference in the future.  However, at this juncture, we won't know - at least, not this time around.  

 

But going forward, do we really want moguls for presidents, who run the country like their own personal cash cow, putting business and profit over the needs of the people.  We slept the interference in the repuglycons in the evisceration of our voting rights; we slept their making it legal to have corporate dollars allowed in presidential elections; we even slept them making it all but illegal for incumbent democrats to have their staff involved in campaigns - but we had better not sleep the deeper meaning of this exit from the campaign by Kamala Harris.  It really is all about the Benjamins Baby.  That and the fact that clueless millions of Americans are having their right to free and equal elections usurped by people who have looking to use that to control the very future of this country into a new form of fascism.

 

While Kamala might not be our president, I am happy that she is still a Senator and will be representing our interests in Congress.  By the way, in case you haven't read the memo, we still need to overturn the majority in the Senate to Democrats - so while we're focusing on the Presidential race, let's make sure we're either running for the US Senate, or backing someone who can defeat the repuglycon incumbents who have been instrumental in running the country off the rails.  

 

This is still job one - make a clean sweep - HOLD THE LINE IN KEEPING OUR MAJORITY IN THE HOUSE, CHANGING THE NUMBERS IN THE SENATE, AND TAKING BACK THE WHITE HOUSE -

 

So while you're dealing with this, just make sure you are registered to vote; challenge those who won't let you register to vote; get your kids 18 and over registered to vote, and so on, and so on and so on. 

 

Don't get it twisted - we are not there yet.

Lenders must be required to significantly increase affordable lending to low-to-moderate income and minority homebuyers.

 ATTENTION ALL:

We are mobilizing to have a massive turnout of our Members  and those concerned about the lack of affordable housing, and discriminatory practices at the Financial Services Congressional hearing on Wednesday April 10^th.  The hearing is about the role of the mega banks after the financial crisis.  The CEO’s of the mega banks will be there. 

We have sent the below email and a similar robo call to our members in the northeast.  We have had a great response.  We need to follow-up with all the people who have responded that they are interested in coming or need more information.  We have created a report that you need to use to follow-up.  The report is in the report section under Outreach “Campaign DC”.  We need to call everyone on the list.  Put in the information of whether they will come and how many people.  I have put some points below for you to provide to our Members:

·      What are we trying to accomplish?

This is a unique opportunity to highlight the NACA Mortgage and purchase program.  We can flex NACA’s grassroots muscle with the audience being the CEO’s of all the major banks, members of congress, media, and the public who will be watching.  

·      What will I be doing?

We will work to get as many people as possible into the hearing.  We will also be going to various congressional offices to speak about NACA and our purchase program.

·      What time should I be there? 

We would like you to be there by 6:00 a.m. or earlier.  The sooner the better and more likely to get into the hearing.

·      Where do we go?

It will be at the Congress.  Meet at the Longworth Housing Office Building at 15 Independence Ave S.E.  Please line up at the entrance there.    

·      What Congressional hearing are we going to?

It is being held by the House Financial Services Committee in hearing room 2128 in the Rayburn building.

·      Will NACA provide food and transportation?

Yes.  We will be transporting people from Philadelphia, Baltimore and Newark, NJ  We will be leaving very early.
