As mentioned in a previous post, history will be made on Saturday, March 28, 2015, when Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. performs the Omega Omega (last rites) for one of their original founders, Pauline Oberdorfer Minor, a native of Philadelphia, PA, who was one of 22 founding members of the Sorority on January 13, 1913.
The Sorority will erect a custom designed monument in her honor at the historic Eden Cemetery - which was founded by five Black business men in 1902 to provide funeral and burial services for Black people.
You are cordially to come and be an eyewitness to this historic occasion - information and registration is outlined below. For those interested in attending the luncheon following the ceremonies, reservation must be made by March 18, and may be done by calling 215-791-2863.
