Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Legislation
State Rep. Amen Brown joined host Nick T. on Evening WURDs to discuss his role in supporting legislation that would set new mandatory minimum sentences for people with prior criminal records who are arrested and convicted of gun-related offenses. The legislation also would allow people with certain priors to be held without bail. In contrast, hear a perspective in opposition of the bill Rep. Brown proposed.
