The Fantastic Dr. Sebi - talking Natural African and African-Based Medicine & Health

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

This is the week of Odunde` - and many of us are right now on South Street in Philadelphia celebrating our African Heritage.

However, today is  really the culmination of a week-long series of meetings, presentations and events that are looking to explore and reconnect the severed relations between each other - Africa and those of us in the diaspora who were snatched away from our motherland and kidnapped to a hostile, foreign country to do slave labor; while those who remained were  invaded by interlopers who likewise stole everything they owned and subjugated them to  400+ years of colonization.  On both sides of the ocean, we were brutalized, tortured, brainwashed and subjugated to separation, lies and divide and conquer tactics, so that by the time we were finally able to get back together, we hardly knew each other.

Odunde is in some part an effort to honor the African in all of us.  And what a wonderful, eyeopening, propitious week this was.  So much so, I am going to take each event/topic in turn - under separate postings.

The purpose of this is to share with some, and introduce to others, a youtube lecture by the late, great, iconoclast, DR. SEBI  -the nutritionist and philosopher, who turned the world on its ear with his insight, cures, and avante garde protocols that worked, despite all the western-based medical world's efforts to try to thwart or deter their efficacy.

This youtube posting is quite old, but very insightful - not because of a couple of major things he covered -  but because he was the first to not only acknowledge, but advocate for the efficacy of Marijuana as a cure for most of the illnesses we suffer from.   I find it interesting on several levels -

ONE:  The US criminalized the use of marijuana for decades
TWO:  The US is now the biggest advocate for the use of marijuana
THREE: The US is making up rules for the kinds of marijuana you can use
FOUR:   Black men and women were incarcerated for selling/using marijuana
FIVE:   Those same Black men and women are now embargoed from growing or selling or profiting from the sale of the medicinal marijuana (why???)
SIX:  Dr. Sebi was allegedly arrested and killed  (murdered) in his home country of Honduras
for having too much money and not enough I.D. on him right at the time that he was going there to start a plantation for the growth of marijuana.
SEVEN: Africa allegedly has the most arable land on the planet, making it the perfect place for  growing, cultivating, harvesting and developing it for medicinal uses and cures (rather than having the US exporting their watered down versions to Africa)
EIGHT:  The home growth of marijuana, along with the advice of Dr.Sebi for the utilization of  naturally existing herbs and food for the health of our African/Diasporan brothers and    sisters will insure quality, eliminate overpriced substandard imports from other countries; provide job opportunities for local African people.
NINE:  Hopefully the true bi-product is increased health and knowledge about food products that can be grown and cultivated in Africa

So I'm sharing the link from Dr. Sebi's YouTube Lecture - it is so information rich, you probably are going to want to watch it twice - once just to get the flow of his considerable knowledge - he has an enourmous sense of humor!!   But his information is not to be taken lightly.   Watch it the second time to take notes because there are so many references that you are going to want to follow up on.

That said, HERE'S THE LINK:

I hope this has been enlightening for you; and that you've gained value from the wisdom of this wonderful sage, and will apply it as we go forward in moving Africa back to the center of the world.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Stay Blessed &
