Hello All:
Well, we are at ground zero for Thanksgiving 2015. Today's the day - and the houses will be filled with wonderful aromas of baking turkey, rolls, collard greens, cornbread, sweet potato pies, mac and cheese the way only we can make it.
Today we put on our best and gather with our families and friends to give thanks.
What a wonderful day this will be.
I truly hope we all have something to be thankful for and express our appreciation fully.
I also hope that we remember that this is the beginning of the official boycott of Black Friday, and shopping in stores that commercialize Christmas.
By now most of you know that we are trying to make a break between being puppets to a meanstream society that has made it clear that Black lives don't matter, while Black dollars do. So we have to send the message that our Black dollars will stay in our pockets as long as we continue to be the main targets and victims of racism, police brutality, disenfranchisement, housing discrimination, medical discrimination, substandard educational practices.
We will no longer line their pockets with our hard earned money.
Before you forget - if you don't already have a poster, take a piece of paper and write on it in big bold black letters, I am not participating in Black Friday until Black Lives Really Matter in the US!!
There are thousands of Black merchants and business waiting to fulfill your shopping needs - just look them up. This calls for discipline and determination. They want to undermine our resolve, but we have a great deal to gain in the long run if we pull together.
I know that the meanstream media has been trying to squelch this - because it's a threat to the almighty dollar so many of their sponsors depend up on to pay them to keep us dumb - but I'm reminding you that WE ARE BOYCOTTING BLACK FRIDAY 2015 - NOT ONE RED CENT OUT OF A BLACK POCKET SHOULD GO INTO THEIR POCKETS - WE SHOULD ACTIVELY STAY AT HOME AND REFUSE TO GET SUCKED INTO THE COMMERCIALISM OF PSEUDO BARGAINS FROM THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SPEND THE REST OF THE YEAR DEPRIVING US OF DECENT HOMES, EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE AND QUALITY OF LIFE.
