CELEBRATING LOU WILSON ON HIS 80th Birthday Anniversary - October 25, 2021

By  Gloria DULAN-Wilson

Hello All!

HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY LOU!!

Lou Wilson/Performing with MANDRILL at the Dell East - Philadelphia 08/2011

Well, it's finally here - today is October 25, 2021 - what would have been Lou Wilson - The Love of My Life's 80th Birthday.

Truth be told, I've been subconsciously doing a count down to this day since his 79th birthday, in 2020.

At the time I had no idea what we were going to do as a family.  I can tell you it is totally different from what we envisioned years ago when we would make those plans about our futures as seniors - grandparents - together.  We saw ourselves sitting on a porch with rocking chairs, still in love and loving, with at least 10 grandkids running in and out the house.

I had no vision of his not being here to celebrate his 80th birthday in the flesh.  But he's not!   He made his transition 8 years ago.   However, his spirit is very much here - and not just with me, but with our kids, our Grandkids, his Friends, Fans, and Admirers.  Our memories are always of joy, humor, fondness whenever his name or his spirit comes up.  There are so many loving anecdotes that we can and do share with each other.

Many of these will probably come to mind today as we commemorate the life of this wonderful genius - a man of passion, walking music, educator, lover of children, and a whole host of wonderful qualities that culminated in the most enigmatic, iconic, creative and talented FINE BLACK MAN on the Planet, who created so much wonderful music and thought provoking, imaginative lyrics that still stand the test of time.

So I'm asking you all to please celebrate with us, the 80th Birthday of LOU WILSON
Happy Birthday LOU - MUCH LUV4U - as you traverse the realm of the Ancestor/Angels

In you honor and memory, I'm binge-listening to MANDRILL Music - all day long.

Lou, Carlos, Ric, Wolf Wilson

If you have positive or loving ideas you want to share on this occasion of LOU WILSON BIG 8-OH BIRTHDAY
PLEASE POST THEM HERE
I'M SURE OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDS WOULD LOVE TO KNOW

Thank You!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME 3/21/21 -

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

Not only is this my birthday today, but the quasi anniversary of being socially distanced from my friends and family for one year.

I had no idea that I would be spending two consecutive birthdays socially distanced from my friends and loved ones (same thing, since I absolutely love my friends) - but here it is again

MARCH 21, 2021 or 3/21/21

Can some of my numerology friends tell me if there is any significance to those sequences? Please?

(by the way, I only want to hear it if it's good news - don't want any negative vibes messing up this Aries mood :)

Anyway....I'm celebrating another day of living

Celebrating another day of life - stole it from the song of the same name - and hope all of us who were born on the

ORIGINAL FIRST DAY OF SPRING AND THE ORIGINAL FIRST DAY OF ARIES -

(not the ones they are trying to make up) ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL, WONDERFILLED, BLESSED, FAVORED, HEALTHY, HAPPY, JOYOUS, LOVING FUN BIRTHDAY!!

I could pat myself on the back, but the Kudos go to GOD!

Love and blessings to my Brother/Sistuh ARIENS - for having survived with our sanity, integrity, courage, creativity, and sense of humor intact -

GOD knows without those wonderful traits, we'd all be basket cases.

Thanks Be To God Who Always

If Not For His Grace
I don't Know Where I'd Be Today

with Rosa Parks and Queen Mother Moore

I was reflecting on my three Beautiful Children:
Kira, Rais & Adiya - of whom I am very proud and
some of the wonderful things we've been through together.  My Brother/Friend, Gerald Peart sent me this wonderful memory of the evening we spent with Rosa Parks and Queen Mother Moore when they were kids.  It also happened to have been my Birthday.
