2263 Rayburn House Office Building | Washington, DC 20515 (202) 225-4741 CongRessman Mfume is to be commended - if more such endeavors to underwrite and protect our history are undertaken, we'll be a long way ahead of the miscreants who are trying to distort, erase, and eliminate the truth about who we are and all that we have accomplished, and continue to do so. In addition to the upcoming event tomorrow, it should also be brought to mind that we, Black people, are as responsible for the preservation and expansion of our own history and stories by contributing fund for the preservation, making sure that our children know the truth, and that the schools also know and teach the truth. We are as responsible for being in the forefront of defending and preserving our history and heritage as other cultures do for their people. Regardless of where you live, remember that Black History and Culture are under siege across the nation. And we have to make sure we're part of our own salvation, and the salvation of our future and the future of our children. NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? Stay Blessed & ECLECTICALLY BLACK
