Time to take a mini-stroll down Memory Lane
There are so many of us still on this planet who remember making
A Bee-line to PERKS For HAPPY HOUR!
or For Dancing to the music of DJ TALL GUY
or For rubbing elbows with Black Leaders, Artists, Political Figures
or For giving our beloved NEW YORK KNICKS A HUG FOR A JOB WELL DONE
NOTE: You could not come to PERKS if you were not a KNICKS FAN -
So Anthony Mason, Cal Ramsey and Charles Oakley made Perks their Harlem Hang Out
The Legend of Perks still lives!
So let's give a salute and a shout out to Hank Perkins -
Who is as alive and well and feisty and funny as he always was Black Then!
