Hello All:
As you all know, this is Women's History Month - and needless to say we women have been making our presence felt nationally and internationally.
Like most of you, I was glued to the set Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, while Ketanji Brown Jackson held her own under a barrage of hostile questions from Repuglycons who are trying to find some reason to not confirm her as the First Black Woman appointed to the Supreme Court.
And like most of you, there were some miscreants who I would have loved to have heard her put in their place - as she most certainly could have done - were it not for the fact that this is such a pivotal situation.
Instead she was poised, focused, erudite, intelligent, informative, valiant, demure, patient, soft, stalwart, charming, alert, aware, determined, dynamic. and cool as a cucumber!!
Now it's our turn to show her we have her back:
Bring your daughters & your sons - Your Husbands, Brothers, Boyfriends,
Make this a family outing
We have to be part of the change we wish to see
Let's show them that we mean business
We are a force and a source to be reckoned with
STAND TOGETHER FOR KETANJI !!
