GDW EVENT ALERT - LINCOLN UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SPONSORS THE GIFT OF WARMTH - WINTER COAT DRIVE

Hello All!

 

T'IS THE SEASON FOR GIVING, SHARING, GENEROSITY, LOVE, UNITY - and being our own Blessings to those who are in need.

Please share by contributing a warm coat or jacket so that we can give them to our youth and adults who are facing a cold winter.    This annual giving is a special project that is near and dear to Philadelphia's Lincoln University Alumni-  to serve in closing the gap between the "haves and have-nots."   The disparities continue to grow - and we want to play our part in making sure they don't have to face the privations of enduring cold weather without adequate winter clothing.

In addition to your individual contribution, please contact your Fraternities, Sororities, Community Organizations, Church groups, local businesses, and of course your wonderful neighbors to help in this worthy cause.

And thanks so much to those of you who have so generously contributed in the past.  We appreciate your continued support.  

 

Please take note:  We are still looking for adult women's and men's coats in all sizes- monetary donations are welcome to purchase as well. 

Any coat donations should be mailed in before 12.4 if not, they should bring coats to Edmonds Elementary School on Saturday 12/11.

We also welcome Volunteers to help set up as well - should be on-site by 9:00 am.
