Women's March to tell T-rump Families Belong Together

By Gloria Dulan-Wilson

Hello All:

Somebody needs to tell T-rump, "IT'S ON!!!"  And he's going to lose big time.   The women of America have spoken - and no matter how many empty headed twits he hires to speak for him, or how many bimbos on TV speak in his behalf, the REAL WOMEN OF AMERICA don't play that.

The brutalization of children, the deprivation of rights to hardworking, ordinary citizens, the usurpation of laws so that his cronies can prosper - not gonna continue to happen with impunity.

It is clear that T-rump is trying to overthrow the government under the guise of being president.  It is also clear that congress, on both sides of the aisle, has a collective yellow streak a mile wide.  They've broken their pledge to protect and serve the country - they have abrogated their responsibility uphold the Constitution and provide the best service in representation of the people who elected them - and they have done anything but that.

America has been in a steady decline since the electoral college sold us out and put T-Rump in office as the ersatz president.

But the tide is rising against him as the REAL WOMEN OF AMERICA begin to show up and put him and his henchmen on notice that they are mad as hell, and they're not going to take it anymore.

Where are you as women (and the men who love us) standing in this fight for moral justice?

Saturday, June 30, 2018 - will be a day of action - it's time we put a stop to the brutalization and desecration of families - both foreign and domestic.

This letter below was emailed to me from the WOMEN'S MARCH - I am sharing it with you - whether you attend, or start local actions of your own, it's important that you do something - we must not allow this debacle to continue:

I Believe That We Will Win

By the time you read this, I will have just been released from jail. Earlier today, over 1000 women came together in the largest act of civil disobedience of women in recent U.S. history. Women traveled from 48 states to speak out against Trump’s brutal and inhumane imprisonment of immigrants and the separation of children from their parents. The images we have seen, the cries we have heard evoke the worst moments in our country’s history.  But even in this dark moment, today’s powerful action gave me a much-needed dose of optimism and hope. We stood, linked together, hand-in-hand, to affirm our commitment to disobey injustice and we will put our bodies on the line to call our country to its moral center.
We stood our ground against hate and sent a message: we will not comply with an administration that is criminalizing people coming to our borders in search of safety, locking children and families in detention camps, and using immigration enforcement to advance a White Nationalist agenda. That is why today we called for an end to Trump’s Zero Tolerance policy, and for the abolition of ICE, a rogue and dangerous federal agency whose sole purpose is to separate families and terrorize our communities.
But I’m going to keep it real: This administration is not done attacking us. Trump’s Zero-Tolerance policy is the latest in a series of anti-immigrant policies designed to terrorize and drive immigrants underground. This administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement agenda isn’t just an ideological enterprise; it is a formula to enrich private prison companies and their Wall Street financiers. The vast majority of people in detention are in private prison camps owned by for-profit companies, and the full implementation of the Zero Tolerance policy will increase the number of immigrants in for-profit cages by 290-580%. Trump’s deportation agenda is morally bankrupt and must be stopped now!
Calling our country to it moral center will require sustained struggle by all of us, and a commitment to engage in collective action that reminds us that we are not alone, and that we will stand with and for each other until. Especially on weeks like this one, which brought us demoralizing setbacks including the Supreme Court’s horrendous decision to legitimize the Muslim Ban and undermine the rights of workers to form a union.

But I believe strongly that it is in fighting for the world we want to live in that we find our liberation. And that’s why I feel so grateful for the opportunity fight alongside the inspiring immigrant activists who joined us in DC, and to stand shoulder to shoulder with the leaders of the Women’s March, whose vision unleashed the resistance to the Trump regime, and whose steadfast commitment to justice made today’s action possible.

On Saturday, June 30th, thousands of people will march to demand that the end family separation and detention. People of conscience will raise their voices to say that #FamiliesBelongTogether in freedom, not cages. Please join us on the streets again.
