EVENT ALERTS: NACA FIRST TIME HOME BUYER WORKSHOPS THREE DATES IN PHILADELPHIA -

It's the beginning of a New Year, and NACA Philly has already hit the ground running in trying to help you become new home owners - first time homebuyers.

Their first workshop of the New Year was held on Saturday January 9 at the Kroc Center.  It was filled to capacity.  That's a good sign that Philadelphians are serious about owning their own homes.

Now the good news is that there are three workshops coming up, and you don't want to be on the late show in registering for them, and becoming qualified for the best mortgage on the planet:

• Free Closing Costs
• Free Counseling
• Free legal services
• and  Mortgage 1% below Closing Costs!!

This could be you in a few short months - but you have to get busy - and register -
Spaces fill up fast.  

The upcoming dates are 

Saturday January 23rd at Penn Treaty Park 

Saturday, February 6th at the Kroc Center

Saturday March 5 at Penn Treaty Park

You do have to be a first time home buyer - which means that you cannot be on the deed or mortgage or a co-signer for any other property at the time of purchase
If you owned a home in the past, but it's been some time since you either sold or lost it (thru predatory lenders), you are considered a first time homebuyer
You cannot be and "investor" and own several other income properties
You can purchase a 1-4 family property, as long as you are planning in living in one of the units, and rent out the other.
You can co-buy a property with a relative or a friend - NACA will allow up to 6 people on a property, as long as they are all planning to occupy the property together  in Tenancy In Common form of ownership;
NACA is national and  HUD approved - which means that if you plan to purchase outside of Philadelphia, you can do so.
