And for those of you who are not aware of this wonderful organization, let me bring you up to date:  The Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Foundation, started over ten years ago, is an advocacy program that distributes contributions to a variety of children's and educational charitable programs, in Florida.  In addition to the foundation, Honey Shine, a mentoring program for young girls, and The Overtown Youth Center, and a high school named in his honor are ways in which the former Miami Heat NBA star is paying it forward.

Thus far they've raised over $10,000 for youth, and are currently helping over 1000 families defeat the challenges of poverty and educational problems.
