ICYMI: LIVE RALLY AND PRESS CONFERENCE AGAINST FLORIDA GOVERNOR RON "INSANITY" DESANTIS

By Gloria DULAN-Wilson

LIVE RALLY AND PRESS CONFERENCE AGAINST FLORIDA GOVERNOR RON INSANITY DESANTIS

Watch the video below and take notes because we have to make sure we're linked up across this country.

I am so happy to see that the brothers and sisters are coming together and making it plain to the ersatz governor of Florida - whom I call Ron "Insanity" Desantis.

They've kind of stolen a march on me, because my next blog article was to be demanding that all Black parents pull their children out of schools in Florida, start their own  Black home schooled educational center - that not only teaches Black education, but also teaches an upgraded education that is not mired down in the mediocrity of the bankrupt education that Florida (and other racist educational systems) have come together to dis and mis educate our children.

The honorable ancestor Mary McLeod Bethune's spirit is emanating throughout this press conference.  And the flame has been ignited.  Congratulations and kudos to our brothers and sisters in Florida for taking the battle in their hands and making it happen.

The people united in Florida - it's time for a wake up call against the assault on the minds of Black children and adults - it's time ot put the skids of the racist moves against us reignited during the T-rump regime, but is going to be put out by Black people across the US.

OUR MIDTERM VOTES MATTER - AND SO DOES OUR MIDTERM CONTRIBUTIONS

By Gloria DULAN-Wilson

Hello All:

From time to time I will be sharing Democratic  Financial Fundraising requests with you as we get nearer and nearer to the 2022 MIDTERM ELECTION -

WHY? YOU ASK - Because freedom ain't free and neither are these campaigns.  In a  world where dark money is used to undermine our freedoms, and underhanded tactics are more the rule than the exception, we can't possibly think that our candidates are going to win on well wishes and prayers.  And, while we might not have the deep pockets some of the other political pundits and manipulators have, we do have the power to help with getting the campaign under way and supporting our candidates.

Former President Barack Obama showed us the way to make it happen.

We used to say that if every Black man and woman took $1.00 a day and pooled it together in a mutual fund, we could have enough money to own our own homes, put our children through college, and own our own businesses.  And that's absolutely true.  Years ago, the Black United Fund of New York proved it by raising $111 Million a year just from donations of $1.50 per person per week in New York City.

Using the same principle, with as little as $3.00 per person per week pooled together to support one or more candidate we can translate  it into $ Millions of dollars.  If done systematically, the way Obama did it during the 2008 and 2012 campaign, we will more than match up with the millions sent into underhanded repuglycon campaigns.  But we have to do it systematically and consistently.  Of course, if you want to give more, feel free to do so.  I have been giving between $3.00 and $5.00 per week since May of this year.

Melanie Campbell, head of The Black Women's Roundtable, participated in a panel during the 2022 National Action Network's convention - and said "It's not like Black people haven't been here before.  We are accustomed to whites trying to deprive us of our rights.  We know how it works, and we do what we have to do to prevent them from preventing us from exercising our rights.  We know that when they close down the polls in one area, we show up in droves to the others; if they say we can't help our elders on line waiting to vote, we make sure they have chairs to sit on until they get to the polls.  If they demand some sort of specialized identification, we get together and make sure that all who need those identifications have them."

In other words: We are prime examples of the saying: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!"

One of the major things Ms. Campbell said was:  "Black people need to learn to TITHE TO CANDIDATES SO THEY WILL HAVE THE FUNDS THEY NEED TO WIN, IN MUCH THE SAME WAY WE DO IN CHURCH."  Seniors need to make sure they have transportation to get to the polls.  Youth must make sure they have registered to vote by the time they are 18 years old.  Ex-offenders must make sure the first thing they do when they are paroled or have served their time that they register to vote.  And those who have members, or friends who fall under this category must make sure they register to vote and then make sure they actually get to the polls.

Make it a sacred mission - just like they are trying to make it their mission to prevent us from voting.  It has been said BLACK PEOPLE HAVE NEVER EVER LOST A BATTLE THAT WE FOUGHT IN - BUT WE DEFINITELY HAVE TO FIGHT IN IT.  NOT FROM THE SIDE LINE, NOT FROM THE TV - BUT ROLLING UP OUR SLEEVES AND GETTING THE JOB DONE!

WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT WE VOTE BLUE - NO MATTER WHO!!

DEMAND THAT PRESIDENT BIDEN ISSUE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER IMMEDIATELY, IF NOT SOONER, RE-ESTABLISHING AND EXPANDING OUR RIGHT TO VOTE - AND VACATING ANY AND ALL LEGISLATION THAT BLOCKS OUR DEPRIVES US OF OUR RIGHTS.

WE MUST PLEDGE THAT WE WILL EXERCISE OUR RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TO VOTE IN EACH AND EVERY ELECTION - FROM DOG CATCHER, TO SCHOOL BOARD, TO MAYOR TO ATTORNEY GENERAL, TO PRESIDENT - MIDTERM AND PRIMARY.

This is the most serious time ever in the history of this country.  We are faced with the threat of losing what little democracy there is  remaining at the hands of a maniacal fool, who has made cheating an art, and lying a game - and thinks he can still get away with murder as he threatened during his campaign during 2016.  WE must not sit aside and allow this to happen without a fight.

OUR BLACK MIDTERM VOTES MATTER; OUR RIGHTS AS WOMEN MATTER; OUR LIVES AS BLACK PEOPLE MATTER.  If it wasn't important, they wouldn't be working so hard to keep us from it.  And we have to work triply hard to make sure they don't prevail!

THAT SAID, FIND OUT WHO'S RUNNING IN YOUR STATE AND SUPPORT THEM, AND COALESCE WITH THOSE ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE WORKING TO MAKE SURE OUR VOTES COUNT.

I WILL BE SHARING POLLS, FUND RAISERS AND NEWS FROM THIS POINT FORWARD.

WE HAVE A LOT TO DO TO MAKE SURE WE PREVAIL AND T-RUMP AND HIS MISCREANTS LOSE BY A LANDSLIDE:

ICYMI Today is MIDTERM PRIMARY DAY IN NEW YORK, OKLAHOMA AND FLORIDA

By Gloria DULAN-Wilson

ICYMI
Today is MIDTERM PRIMARY DAY IN NEW YORK, OKLAHOMA AND FLORIDA

The PRIMARY ELECTION to watch is FLORIDA because VAL DEMINGS is running for US SENATE - and needs ALL THE VOTES AND SUPPORT SHE CAN GET!
And, though Florida is one of my least favorite states in the Union (down there with Mississippi, Alabama, and others), we have to be on top of it and make sure we support her and the Dems running for office, and break of the banal situation that is festering in that beleaguered state under the insanity of Ron Insanity Desantis - ersatz governor, and more like predatory wannabe dictator.   We have to help her and all other Dems  win there and nationwide otherwise we are going to find ourselves a member of the 21st century of classic germanic nazism - and if you don't know what that is, it's high time you looked it up:  https://gloria-dulan-wilson.blogspot.com/2022/04/debunking-hype-agaist-critical-race.html

A primary election is an election in which registered voters select a candidate that they believe should be a political party's candidate for elected office to run in the general election. They are also used to choose convention delegates and party leaders. Primaries are state-level and local-level elections that take place prior to a general election. Florida utilizes a closed primary process, in which the selection of a party's candidates in an election is limited to registered party members.[1][2][3][4]

For information about which offices are nominated via primary election, see this article.

This page focuses on Florida's Democratic primaries for the U.S. House. For more in-depth information on the state's Republican primaries and the general election, see the following pages:

Primary election competitiveness in

OKLAHOMA:
My home state of OKLAHOMA, is under the repuglycon boot heel, but is standing up to the mania and has several viable candidates running throughout the state.
https://okdemocrats.org/2022-candidates/
So I'm encouraging all my OKLAHOMA HOMIES to get out there and vote - get your kids, neighbors, inlaws, outlaws, tribes and send the repuglycons back into the dust they came from!!! It's high time we stopped allowing the venom from Texas to spill over into our state!! Make it happen!!

NEW YORK HOLDS 2 MIDTERM PRIMARIES
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/new-york-is-holding-another-primary-heres-everything-you-need-to-know/
ONLY IN NEW YORK!!! MY OTHER HOME STATE IS HAVING TO UNDERGO TWO PRIMARIES BECAUSE OF REDISTRICTING - AND NO ONE KNOWS WHO WILL EMERGE TRIUMPHANT AT THIS STAGE.  SADLY TWO OF THE INCUMBENTS HAVE BEEN PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER - BOTH OF WHOM ARE LOVED, LOYAL AND EFFECTIVE.  THIS WILL BE AN INTERESTING NAIL BITER!!

U.S. House elections by state - Even if you don't live in these states, you may have relatives, friends or associates who do - we have to be involved and abreast of everything across the nation - this is no time for fence sitting, turning a blind eye, or becoming cynical. We must band together just like the repuglycons are banding together against us, so that we win.
