Hello All!
By now, unless you live on another planet, don't speak English, or have been in a cocoon - you've heard about the brohaha between racist repuglycon Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA), Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (D-NY) - and depending on what TV channel you were watching, like Fox False News, you either got the distorted version - usually sound bytes; or you got the full story - generally via such independent media coverage as Roland Martin Unfiltered, and Brian Taylor Cohen.
I watched the event in real time the night that it happened, and quickly realized that Green had totally lost her mind and all sense of decorum, but had met her match against an intelligent, educated, composed, no-nonsense Black woman and an equally fed up AfroLatina Sister, AOC - and was about to be read through and through.
The entire incident has captured the headlines and imaginations across the country. So I thought I'd share some of the more salient ones with you - along with the way it really happened.
