Track and Field POP-UP Fundraiser 2024
Greetings Evening All!
My
Grandson, JADEN HARRELL, reached out to let me know that Lincoln
University PA's track and field is hosting pop up fundraisers to help
the Track and Field crew update their equipment, modernize their facilities, pay for transportation, and provide for accommodations when they are out on the road competing with other colleges and universities.
This is Jaden's Senior Year - and he's
distinguished himself both athletically and academically. Last year he mentioned to me that the Track & Field Division at Lincoln U does not get the same consideration and support that the other sport events do. And, while this is NCAA season, the Track and Field division is still touring and competing with colleges across the US.
AALUPA HAS ASKED ME TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT THE TEAMS NEED - BUT I THINK THE REST OF THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATIONS MIGHT ALSO BE INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING OUR TEAMS.
So glad to do whatever I can to help them get the uniforms, equipment, medical and therapeutic protocols they need to succeed.
I just received the contribution form, and wanted to
make sure you each have a copy as well.
The
Form has an "auto fill format" so make sure you click
on "LINCOLN UNIVERSITY TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS" in the appropriate space; JADEN HARRELL's NAME in the space for the person who solicited the donation.
Hopefully you will
give generously.
The Deadline for The Pop-Up Donations is February 28, 2024
