Hello All!
Make sure you tune in to WURD.FM Radio Sunday, November 5th at 2:00PM as Attorney Warren Hamilton shares his insights, accomplishments and concerns as a former Civil Rights Activist.
With the 2024 Presidential campaign looms before us, and more and more individuals crowd the ballots, and the political arena becomes increasingly crowded with incompetents and power seekers, while political apathy undermines the success of more qualified candidates, the issue of Black voting rights and responsibilities becomes more and more important.
With Philadelphia's mayoral election a scant 6 days away, (2 days by the time of this broadcast), political apathy and political activism are coming into a head on collision. Who wins is entirely up to Philadelphia's voters.
Most Black people are not aware of the valiant fight being waged in their behalf to protect and expand our votes. What would be an absolute tragedy and travesty is to have people fighting and advocating for our rights and liberation while we sit idly by and let them do all the hard work and heavy lifting. We have so many contemporary heroes and sheroes fighting the good fight - we need to both show our gratitude and participate in the process.
So make sure you tune in Sunday, November 5th
at 2:00 PM - and you might want to take notes to share with friends, or
to use in any situation where you find yourself confronted with
disenfranchisement.
Our freedom, rights, liberty are at stake. None of us can do this by remote control - so we've got to be well informed and well prepared if we don't want to go back to those bad old days of jim crow and disenfranchisement. While we all have personal heroes, we have to also help them help us.
NOW THAT YOU KNOW
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
Stay Tuned to WURD.FM
Stay Blessed &
