Happy Birthday Perks

Hello All

 

This is just a little shout out to Brother/Friend Hank Perkins who had one of the most dynamic and famous supper clubs in Harlem:  PERK'S FINE CUISINE  - which used to occupy the corner of 123rd and Manhattan Ave in Harlem, USA - Now in his 90s and just as sharp, active, and energized as he was BLACK IN THE DAY when we hung out three deep at the bar enjoying each other and his wise cracks.  No club  has come since to rival the popularity and camaraderie of PERKS - owing to the personality of this one brother - Hank Perkins - and his wife/life mate Gail. 

So send him a shout out and reminisce on the days when we partied hardy and had some of the most fantastic food on the planet. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANK PERKINS - YOU'RE STILL NUMBER ONE!!

 

 Salute PERKS as part of our Harlem Heritage!
