AGO!!!  AMEY!
HELLO ALL

AS I SAY EVERY YEAR - JUNE MUST BE DUBBED BLACK PEOPLE'S MONTH!!

AMONG OTHER EVENTS, WE HAVE:     BLACK MUSIC MONTH, JUNETEENTH, CARIBBEAN/AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH COMMMORATION OF THE GREENWOOD,
OKLAHOMA MASSACRE/AKA BLACK WALLSTREET  -

I DON'T NEED TO REWRITE THIS; I POSTED IT LAST YEAR:

We are now in 2021 - we survived the Pandemic of COVID 19 - Yaaaaay!!
And there is much to celebrate - and we're off to a good start!

What better way to kick off summer than with the Tradition of ODUNDE - which takes place every year in Philadelphia, PA. Like last year, 2020, this year's week-long celebration with be virtual -
Commencing on Sunday, June 6, and ending on Sunday, June 13.  As always, the focus will be on the celebration of our AFRICAN HERITAGE, featuring something for everyone - regardless of age, which part of the MotherLand you came from or where you landed, and honors those Ancestor/Angels who went before us and now look over us.

For those of you who wanted to learn how to cook authentic African food, but didn't know to ask, tune in tomorrow, June 6 on Odundefestival on either FaceBook or YouTube, at 6:00PM, when Ms. Youma Ba, owner of Kilimandjaro and Youma Restaurants, as she does a cooking demonstration.  I am a total fan of her cooking in particular, and Senegalese cuisine in general.  Youma takes it to a whole other level!!

If you are interested in doing business with Africa or the Caribbean, or both, make sure you check out the Business Roundtables.  Also, make sure you check out the Women's business programs.  There is going to be so  much to do, see and enjoy as we ease back into person to person interaction, there will be cultural entertainment making you feel as though you are there in person.
So mark your calendars because there witll be the intersection of Odunde with Juneteenth - highlighting the fact that we've so much to celebrate as a people - we have come so far, and are continuing to move forward.
