Hello All:
This is a guest article that I came across on FB - and I am so happy to share it with you. There have been so many stories about Black Wall Street and the massacre, it's so heartwarming to find that there is still one survivor who is benefiting from this real time.
All this happened before my time, and before my parent's time. Though it happened during my grandparent's lifetimes, the town had been rebuilt - completely - by Black people who came together; but there may have been those whose homes were overlooked or not included.
I think it's wonderful they came together to make this wonderful woman's dreams come true - which is what Oklahomans (Black Oklahomans) do best - pull together, help each other, look out for each other.
As a fellow Oklahoma Homie - I commend them for keeping up the tradition of love and inspiration.
Also proud of Oklahoma for voting for Biden - a change is gonna come.
Stay Blessed &
ECLECTICALLY BLACK
